The Lefts selective moral outrage...

I love watching liberals get all bent out of shape over Vitter...
Obviously what he did was wrong, and I suspect that since conservative voters have standards and believe in personal responsibility, he will not be able to last...
Shall we go over the list of liberals who have been caught doing illegal things and never even thought of quitting office. I could do it AGAIN, but it would not matter to the brain dead liberals anyway. It has been proven as fact over and over again that when a Republican gets caught, he resigns because the people who vote for Republicans demand a higher standard...
Whereas liberals vote in people who have 90,000 dollars hidden in their freezer, get convicted of child molestation and smoking crack (in Milwaukee we will soon get to watch Democrats vote in either a guy who bought votes, tried to have someone beat up, shake down minority business owners, have two social security numbers, two drivers licenses, threaten to kill someone in court and intimidate witnesses from jail) and still get voted back in over and over and over again...
So you know what, liberals, once again you don't have the moral authority to talk about this case. You supported someone who cheated on their wife and lied under oath, meaning you forfeit any credibility on moral issues ever again...

Now, some say it is worse for a Republican to do this because guys like Vitter run on a platform a family values...okay...then I guess you guys need to stop praising Gore for his global warming stance...
Here is ANOTHER reason why...
Gore's message loses bite

Game,

WebSense is blocking your site for being a Social Networking and Dating website. I believe this is the work of Hashfanatic trying to block people from coming here as Radio Equalizer had been also hit in the same way by WebSense.

Well, if Hash is doing that, he would be showing his true liberal brain at work, trying to end free speech, and showing how he is a in intolerant liberal...
How do I fix that?

Wait a minute, now. You seem to forget that the same people that voted for William Jefferson voted for David Vitter - they're from the same state.

Honestly I think it's a Louisiana thing, not a Democrat thing. They just don't care much about corruption down there.

The truth of the matter is, probably almost as many Democrats are sleeping with hookers as Republicans. But Democrats aren't running on a platform of family values and traditional marriage, so why should they be held to the same standard of personal conduct? What Vitter did was shameful to his family and his wife, and it's certainly highlights the hypocrisy at the base of the Republican party and the conservative movement, but should what he did be illegal? Clearly he doesn't think it should be - at least not for him. Too bad he doesn't have the courage to take the same stance for everyone else.

If Jefferson is a Senator, then it is the same people...

Game,

Try contacting WebSense at www.websense.com. Ask them why they are blocking you and why they don't block such sites like Iowa Underground and other Democrat sites.

Vitter's Words:

Some current polls may suggest that people are turned off by the whole Clinton mess and don’t care — because the stock market is good, the Clinton spin machine is even better or other reasons. But that doesn’t answer the question of whether President Clinton should be impeached and removed from office because he is morally unfit to govern. [Times-Picayune, 10/29/98]

So vitter questions whether Clinton is morally unfit to govern because he had a consentual affair with another adult, then vitter goes trolling for prostitutes himself. That is hypocritical.

If vitter hadn't been condemning people for doing the same thing that he was doing, I would have no complaints. But since he did, that makes him a hypocrite.

True hypocrisy: Republicans who decried Democrats' use of the filibuster are embracing it now.

Moreover, you underestimate the outrage many Dems and liberals feel at our elected officials when they are caught doing wrong. I've called for William Jefferson to resign. Russ Feingold demanded censure against president Clinton. It isn't all look-the-other-wayism.

Jay, you simply say things, they just are not true.
Dems tolerate a great deal of wrong doing compared to the right...look at your OWN local newspaper TODAY...I just wrote about this...

No, it is not, you sneaky little vermin....

Also - having sex with prostitutes is illegal, right? I'm not sure there's a "forgiven by wife and God" defense, so.... why is David Vitter walking around a free man, exactly? He just says "I want to put it behind me" and... it is? Like it's his personal call on whether or not get gets to break the law?

IOKIYAR, I guess.

Cons don't believe in the rule of law at any rate, so why would the illegality of prostitution cause them not to accept it from their own?
