Anyone able to get the link to work?
Yeah, he's a staunch republican all righ, just like me.
I wonder if he was lying or the reporter
I'm sorry but any article that refers to Kerry as "horribly leftist" just doesn't have any credibility in terms of media bias.
Obviously if you're somewhere to the right of Attila the Hun, you're going to see bias in the media every time they say "Democrat" instead of "Defeatocrat."
Have to agree with Chet on the "horribly leftist" comment.
And how do we know that the attorney did not describe himself as a staunch Republican?
NewsBlusters must have incredible resources to dig up trivia like this.
can we make a medication that allows Liberals to focus?
There is one, but it is currently illegal to grow or smoke it.
Game- you posted a link to a site with as much objectiveness as the Daily Kos. Clearly you have no focus if you can't see the inherent problem with your post.
The Dodgers strike again! (I never liked the Dodgers)
"horribly leftist" That's the best you can do? Out of the whole article?
Just exactly what is wrong with that statemtent, or say, labeling someone as a "liberal".
Oh that's right, the negative conotations and all that jazz.
Oh well, if the shoe fits...
Why not just own up to what you are, what you believe? Oh that's right, your people would never get elected if they were honest about their beliefs!
Realism
Your right, a "staunch Repub" he never was, sounds more like someone that likes to cover "all the bases", play the game, wind the ponies, etc.
All you yahoo's that don't like the negative conotations that "honorable leftist" or "liberal" has, well it's your job to change it! It's not the media's fault that you've "made your bed".
If the last few weeks at "Right's" blog is any indication, you've been doing a pretty piss poor job of it!
But hey, I'm willing to give any jackleg a chance, if he's got something worth listening to.
Blamin, are you stoned? honorably leftist = "horribly leftist"?
I don't have any problem labeling Kerry a liberal. He was, he is, and I like that. I DO object to "horribly leftist" as I'm sure you would object to my calling Fred Thompson "horribly rightist".
Nope,
"horribly rightist". I've no problem with that, regardless of what you so called urban progressives may think.
Ya see, I'm able to seperate reality from...
How about a REAL example of media bias:
ROBIN ROBERTS (co-host): It's going to be a long day on Capitol Hill.
SAWYER: It certainly is. Senators facing an all-nighter now as Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid vows to filibuster, talking all night to close out all topics besides a vote on Iraqi troop withdrawals
How about that? After taking every opportunity to paint the Democrats as obstructionist whenever they would filibuster, now that the shoe is on the other foot and the republicans are being obstructionist, the so called liberal media reports that it's DEMOCRATS that are filibustering.
That's some real bias for you. Your example is just sloppy reporting.
Phillip,
Democrats are obstructionists. They demonstrate it every day.
pcd: You're a coward. You show that every day you ignore my challenge to you.
And, question: How can Democrats be obstructing anything, if they're in the majority? It's the Republicans who are refusing the up-or-down vote, Republicans who are filibustering. They're the obstructionists!
