I think both have gone overboard with their comments and their tone. However, I have yet to witness you make a single comment about those on this blog that more or less agree with you. Until you do so, your stance is less than noble.
There is no one from the Right who comes here who constantly levels personal attacks, makes up names, and questions my career. These guys know nothing about what I do, and this blog is for debate, not constant personal attacks.
So no more gayme, no more telling me I have a masters degree from a cereal box...its over.
There are certainly individuals from the Right who do little aside from hurl insults at others. If you're truly interested in raising the level of debate, your standards would be the same.
There is only one conservative who gets out of hand from time to time, but not ALL the time...like just about every single far left person who comes here. I am not the one who makes Lefties hateful people who let emotion consume them and control their debate.

Maybe humble yourself a bit. I can throw all sorts of URLs, but you on the left don't care about any refutation of your dogmas or closely held delusions. You just point to your posts as all the evidence necessary.
I love skewering Jim. He acts like a Dem-bot. In one place he'll trumpet his use of the postings of Think Progress, but when caught cutting and pasting from there or worse yet denying that Think Progress is advocating another dranconian measure of the left that denies liberties to others, he lies about it not being true.

It is possible that you are not as bad as you seem...possibly you just came around at the wrong time, the time that Hash really went insane.
You did add name calling, but most of the other stuff was Hash.
If you are able to simply comment about the topic at hand without constant references to the Bush crime family, neocons, name calling and personal attacks, your posts will not be deleted.
I am quite certain Hash does not have that ability.

I dont think Ive ever used "bush crime family".. and "neocons" is a term used by, to quote wiki, "supporters and critics alike". As for the personal attacks.. just dont forget about Scorpion who seems to make more outrageous comments than nearly everybody else combined. He doesnt even deny it. Andy points to a double standard that is highlighted with neon lights. I just would hope that it is acknowledged either publicly or privately.

There is a BIG difference between throwing a shot inbetween three or four paragraphs of a good post and two sentences that attack someones profession, call them names and then say some stupid thing from DailyKos
I hate to admit it, but I also found Hash to be a bit over the top. But I don't think he should be banned.
I also have to agree that your outrage is selective, game. There is someone who used to post here who did nothing but call me and others liars and lunatics and more. Fortunately, I figured out how to use the Google ignore feature and have blocked his comments so I don't ever see them.
But if he still posts here, you should consider banning him, too.
I can't really ban anyone...I even let a post stay here from Hash today...I'm glad to see that I was not the only one.
Remember this: It is my blog, so if someone is pissing ME off, I am going to do something about it much faster than if someone is pissing someone else off...
You might not like it, but that is the way it is. I have made a few comments to conservatives who even get close to following in the long list of liberals who I have gotten out of here...

Please post a link here to a DailyKos diary, NOT COMMENT, which matches O'Reilly's KKK and Nazi party description. Not just something you disagree with, because you will surely disagree with 99.9% of what's there. That doesn't make it hate or idiocy.
I don't agree with everything on DailyKos either, but there is a very large majority of the content which is well-written, well thought out, and um, yes liberal. So what? Still doesn't make it hate.
O'Reilly is now on a kick against the San Francisco Chronicle, apparently a hate-filled newspaper because it printed an opinion column with which BO disagrees.
BO is becoming more and more of a joke every night. He's losing it.
