Until many, many more Americans are tired of some people's culture, you will have inner cities with 26% poverty, 55% high school graduation rate, and kids having kids. Goldberg is not letting Vick off the hook. She gave a reason for what he did, not an excuse. Nice Hail Mary pass.. from animal cruelty (which you don’t care about) all the way over to poverty/education/teen sex. These issues have very little to do with each other. Yet, you’ve convinced yourself that it’s the evil liberals fault.

In this case, I have to agree with game. Goldberg IS making excuses for Vick's savage behavior.
There is an serious element of truth in parklife's assertion that game twists these little incidents into silly little "anti-liberal" rants, when it's really an anti-black rant in disguise, and liberals have nothing to do with it.
But, the fact is, the black community has to accept responsibility that they've accepted these kinds of behaviors for decades now, and collective attitudes towards them will not change until they clean up their own community's backyard.
Blacks must develop progressive attitudes from within, if they expect progress in American society to occur, and old "stereotypes" that are actually today's reality to fall away.

I've heard this "black culture" crap being expressed before. It's an attempt to lessen the outrage for what Vick has done. There's a black professor that O'Reilley often has on his show (Hannity and Colmes does as well) whose name escapes me. I can picture the guy and he looks pretty young and wears glasses (I'm sure that narrows it down for ya). Anyway, he was giving the same yada, yada to Malkin when she sat in for O'Reilley. It's really pathetic. However, I have a hard time thinking that conservative blacks feel good about such behavior being termed in any way as "normal" for the black culture. Nor do I believe that many blacks aren't horrified at the thought of such cruelty inflicted on animals.
