A few comments on the issues of the day:
Democrats Surpass Republicans in Fund-Raising
I always think it is interesting how liberals and the media talk about Republicans getting money from special interests and evil corporations...when Dem's get it, it is a measure of how popular you are. In saying that, this is not a good sign for the Right.
Oak Lawn Schools Cancel Holiday Traditions
Why do we always pander to a very small minority and always feel it okay to offend the vast majority.
Callers support Irving's deportation policy
Why don't politicians see this. The VAST majority of Americans are for anything that gets illegals out and keeps them out.

Issues of the Day?
"not a good sign for the Right"
And.. you're just noticing this?
Say.. it might be time to implement some new ways as to how elections are financed? No? Carry on.
"Why do we always pander.."
Every year.. the War on X-mas starts earlier. Perhaps you should spend more time trying to recapture what the republican party was all about rather than worrying about issues like this.
"The VAST majority of Americans"
Ummmm.. the vast majority of Americans in this selected area of the nation..
Good work Game.. This was one of your better posts. Really.. this is a summary of why the Republicans are going to lose for the foreseeable future. I for one really appreciate the lack of foresight, racist and or homophobic comments and general inability of the current brand of republicans to do anything right. Say.. isnt there another country you guys can suggest invading? Only to dig us deeper in debt.
Btw.. when do we get to talk about Blackwater.. oh.. never mind. I'm sure you're not interested in such topics. Another helping of "liberal" media please!
"I always think."
Objection: Fact not in evidence.
I believe the Republican candidates are having difficulty raising money because Republican voters doubt any of their candidates can win, and supporting them financially is a waste of money.
I also believe the number-one issue for most is not the war but illegal aliens, and they don't believe the candidates are willing to deal with the illegal aliens decisively.
Interestingly, Ron Paul, the Republican candidate persecuted by most neocons, raised a million bucks in seven days, which is extraordinary.
"Why do we always pander.."
This is an artificial issue, because you are only willing to mention these attacks if the Mooslims are involved....the atheists, the secular humanists, and especially the right-wing Orthodox Jews, hate Christianity with a passion and have attacked our values, mores, and traditions with far more malevolence and hatred, far more times, than any Muzzies have.
Yet you give them a pass, either because you like those groups, envy them, want to appease them, or feel you can work with them.
They know you will not stand up to them with vehemence, so we can expect many more "Sea-Tacs" this year.
Why wouldn't the Muslims decide to jump on the gravy train, seeing the success their predecessors have had in disrupting American lifestyles?
"Why don't politicians see this. The VAST majority of Americans are for anything that gets illegals out and keeps them out."
The politicians DO see it, but they are terrified of being branded racist.
This is not unique to America. Illegal immigration is in fact a global problem, and many European countries are similarly under siege.
Call it what it is. We are under siege from illegal immigrants.
