President Sarkozy of France is on the verge of a breakthrough in his ambitious plan to wean his country off the restrictive working practices he believes stand in the way of national prosperity.
As France is feeling the long-term effects of liberalism, they are trying to fix it...we are adding more and more crushing laws and regulations to business...trying to make sure we lose are footing in the global economy. Who the hell is going to pay for all the debeats liberals have created with their failed programs if everyone loses their job?
Yesterday, the strike of rail and subway workers that has crippled France for nine days was clearly crumbling, as workers began returning to work in large numbers and union branches conceded that support for the dispute is collapsing.
This is a clasic case of conservatism at work. Starkozy stuck to his guns, and he will get what he wants. Happens at my school every day. The kids have been taught to scream and yell when you do not get what you want or when you have to do something too hard or that you do not want to do. Usually people give into them, so they are reinforced to do the behavior again...
However, if you do not give into them, EVENTUALLY they do what they are told to do. Happened in my class Wednesday. I told the kids in first block they either had to bring supplies to class that were needed for a project, or buy them for 50 cents. ZERO kids came with the supplies and they all said they did not have 50 cents. They were taught that I would give in and just give them what they needed. That is liberal thought at work. If I was a liberal, I would have given into them and led them on the path to failure. I did not do that. I told them they could simply sit in the room and try and figure out what to do as I work on correcting papers. They sat their for 15 minutes shocked. Then, somehow, all of a sudden, the kids "found" 50 cents each. Not all of them, but more than half.
See, in the liberal world, they would get to keep what they have, and take what I have. I say, no more, for the good of them, the country and the World.

This is a god sign. This is how open societies maintain balance. Power corrupts people. Clearly liberals were abusing their power. Samething happens with conservatives as well.
