More bad news for the Dems

I know, you just read that bad news about Iraq...now some more:

Giuliani beats Clinton in new poll

In a potential matchup with Democratic frontrunner Hillary Clinton, Giuliani wins 50-43 percent. Republicans Fred Thompson and Mitt Romney also beat her, although their wins are within the margin of error of plus or minus four percentage points.

Clinton is the only candidate, Democrat or Republican, with higher unfavorable than favorable ratings; 45 percent of voters have an unfavorable opinion of her, while 38 percent have a favorable opinion.

I know you are not smart enough to create a profile or name, but if you click on the link it says that right away...and the point is valid in every state...Hillary can not get a favorable rating above 50 percent

...and once again you do not have the brain power to comment on the issue, article or post

Hillary is unelectable in a two way race. The Democrats are hoping for a 3rd party RINO that will take away votes from the GOP nominee. Perot is not running, and everyother 3rd party hopeful takes away votes from Hillary.

I guess it helps to have the president of Faux News in your corner...

Meanwhile, the "liberal" media is incessantly calling Hitlary a bitch. Sounds like they are gearing up for another "Gore"-ing of a Democratic presidential candidate.

I guess the media execs realize that war=ratings, so they know which side their bread is buttered on.

PCD, do you have a national poll handy that shows that Sen. Clinton can't win?

PCD said...

Andy,

If you can't get above 50% in a 2 way race, you can't win.

There is no 3rd party type candidate that won't take votes away from Hillary, therefore she can't win.

um, Bush got less than 50% in 2000 and he won

and i'm smart enough to create a profile if i want

i commented on the issue. the issue is that you made a statement not backed up by the link you gave

This is just not true. Check here, for example, which shows she regularly polls above 50% favorable.

Also, the current fav/unfav chart here demonstrates that, while Clinton has the highest unfav of any candidate, D or R, her fav rate is higher than any Republican other than Giuliani.

She also consistently outpolls every Republican candidate in national polls.

Jay, get real. Admit you are working for Hillary.

I hate polls.

pcd, easy question: Who made a comment that he could back up with facts and data--me or the Game? You're just making stupid accusations to try to distract from the fact that I just pwned the Game.

pcd, you admit it: You don't know a thing about me, what I believe, or whom I "work for." Whichever Democrat the Game lies about, I will be here to correct him. (And I have before, about Edwards and Obama as well as Clinton.)

Now go back to your home planet, please.

Giuliani or Clinton - it really doesn't matter!! We will definitely have a liberal in White house!! ;-) To that extent, all liberals should be happy!

Interesting to see the future of 'conservative' movement in this country.

Jay,
What did you do to me?
I look at your same link and see Hillary with the highest unfavorable rating of ANYONE...then I look at article after article from newspapers and political blogs talking about how her negative ratings are historical. She is not liked by virtually anyone, including you.

You said Hillary's favorable rating was less than 50%, and it is not. Her favorable rating is, in fact, higher than all but one Republican's. You said Hillary can't win, but she can. Hillary consistently outpolls every single Republican in national polls.

Even state-to-state, Hillary beats all the Republicans in places like Ohio and Iowa and Missouri--states that make winning Florida (which your link is about) unnecessary for Democrats.

You're just wrong on this one. Let it go.

The Game said...

Come on Jay, I give you more credit than that...
Yes, Hillary is winning a bunch of states right now, but look at the data a bit closer.
In just about every state there are 42-50 percent of people who say they will no way vote for her. People do not like her. The Repubicans have lower numbers, but their undecideds are much, much higher, and I don't think anyone on the Right has an unfavorable rating above 40%. That does matter.
Yes, on raw national data Hillary wins...
But,
1. We do not have a national election
2. As people make up their minds, Hillary's unfavorable rating will have to go up atleast a few points, and then you have her ratings of people who will not vote for her near or above 50%.

I think Hillary might be the ONLY liberal who could lose in 2008. 2008 SHOULD be the year of the Democrat. The cards are stacked up against the Right for now.

Your best bet at winning is Edwards. Obama says to many stupid things that will kill him in a general election and no one likes Hillary

pcd, allow me to paraphrase you:
I have no respect for Rush Limbaugh. When he got caught flying to an island known for its sex trade with a suitcase full of Viagra, he decided to play the victim card to enable himself to declare victory. Since when do conservatives care about the rule of law?
