New York Times Reporting: People moving with freedom around much of Baghdad; Commerce returning, even liquor stores are reopening... Developing...
See, sometimes hard work can pay off. Sticking to something, believing in something and doing what it takes to succeed.
Yes, it is hard.
Yes, it might not always look good.
Yes, you can't be discouraged when you have a set back.
Yes, you can't give into special interest groups and changing poll data.
With Dems in charge, you get troops out and chaos in the middle east. You get terrorist safe and able to plan another attack like they were able to do over and over in the 1990's and early 2000's.
Things have changed, and they have changed for the better.
In November 2008, I guess you can vote for the easy way out, to give up with things get hard, to declare defeat quickly, to hope terrorist like us, to take tax payer money the throw it at the problem because that is easier than actually admitting what the problems are...

How many benchmarks have been met? How stable and productive is the Iraqi government?
Progress on the ground level is encouraging but it's all for naught if the government fails to capitalize on it.
andy,
Quit moving the goalposts. You know if the violence subsides, the Democrats lose.
So you're saying that you're pleased by the results of the ethnic cleansing?
PCP, my goalposts are the same ones set by the surge strategy. Apparently you've moved yours to equate liquor sales with victory.
Andy and Realism, you both are drinking the Democrat Kool-aid. YOU both are invested in losing in Iraq.
Realism, we pull out, there will be REAL Religious cleansing of the Sunni from Iraq and Iran's Ayatollahs will be running Iraq. But, that is what you want in the first place just as long as you think it give Bush a black eye.
You continually avoid the question and substitute a coherent answer with baseless rhetoric. What has the Iraqi government done with the reduction in violence?
Btw, since when are the goalposts set by the surge Democratic Party kool-aid? You are desperate!
The NYTimes can see the improvement, why can't Democrats like Jay and Andy?

What have the Democrats done except to try to surrender?
PCP- Here is a quote from an earlier post:
"Progress on the ground level is encouraging..."
Why can't you answer a single question? Why do you run from honest debate?
Andy, because I cut through your bullshit to the heart of the matter.
Again, Andy, why do you want to surrender? That is the salient question here.
Right. Let's declare victory at the sight of lqiuor stores open for business yet ignore the Iraqi government's startling lack of progress.
"How many benchmarks have been met? How stable and productive is the Iraqi government?"
These are serious questions that require honest, sincere thought. Obviously you're not up to the challenge.
Next.
and lets not forget to support the troops:
Military wants part of bonus back
"Military wants part of bonus back"
They might need it if the Dems get their way regarding de-funding the war.
Andy,
You are the one running away at light speed. Why are you afraid of telling us why you want defeat in Iraq and to let Iran run it?
PCD, you have the maturity of Game's students.
Your question is as valid as asking why Bush hates children since he vetoed SCHIP.
andy,
Here's another article from the WaPost written in liberalese. Maybe you'll get it this time.
