less violence is good. what is the evidence you have that the lower violence is due to the surge and not to the success of ethnic cleansing?

i didn't opine either way, i merely asked the question. as a thinking american, i don't put blind faith in what my government tells me.
These are news organizations telling us this...people who are looking for bad...so when they report good, things must be quite good.
