How much more do you need before you understand the real Obama

Let's see:
1. Wife didn't like her country until 4 minutes ago
2. He didn't see a problem with what his racist, anti-Semitic pastor said for 20 years
3. He won't denounce Carter for having meetings with Hamas, I guess he is sympathetic to terror leaders and most of the people around him hate the Jews (hash must be one of his advisers).
4. And his newest quote to show what a complete disaster he would be...

"And it's not surprising then they get bitter, they cling to guns or religion or antipathy to people who aren't like them or anti-immigrant sentiment or anti-trade sentiment as a way to explain their frustrations,"

Game,

I don't know where that last quote came from, but if it’s accurate, it’s obvious this man has no business running for president of these United States.

If he has such an obvious, glaring, misunderstanding of the mindset of such a huge portion of the US population, what kind of misconceptions does he have about the world around us?

Ya, ya, I know it’s convenient for libs to pigeon hole conservatives in such a manner, but does this guy truly believe that tripe or is he merely mouthing accepted platitudes?

The Dems will be defending both New York and Massachusetts from a McCain victory if Obama is nominated.

Go Obama!

here's where it came from.

obviously, he should not be president, if his elitist ass is too good to be president for all the people

but why wouldn't carter take the initiative to speak with hamas, in syria?

Lord knows, SOMEONE has to have the balls, it certainly won't be the rethugs, who want only unending war, for israel's interests

we should have leadership that looks out for american interests first, not israel's

America is a free country, and when you take the side of another free country over terrorist you are protecting America...what good did those talks do?
Nothing...
It took the treat of Reagan kicking their ass to get something done.

excuse me, but isn't hamas in power because of free elections?

and whatever reagan did, it didn't seem to have any lasting results.

Regan left lebanon, right? Not sure what ass kicking you are talking about.

However, the pastor thing will affect Obama. Honestly, I think he made a mistake. Moreover, Dems are probably going to lose to McCain this time anyways!

As to talking America's enemies, I wonder what you were doing when Bush was hosting those Saudi family at his Texas ranch!! I wonder what you were thinking when America was 'indirectly' supporting terrorists in Chechnya and Kashmir, calling them 'fredom fighters'. Not to mention, supplying the weapons and arranging training to Islam radicals in Afghanistan!

My point is...talking to your enemy is not a bad thing after all. It DOES NOT mean surrendering to them!

"We must not negotiate with a terrorist group intent on Israel's destruction," Obama said.

"We should only sit down with Hamas if they renounce terrorism, recognize Israel's right to exist, and abide by past agreements."

As is normal, Realism, has a total disconnect from reality!

GAME, I hate your “comment moderation” tool.

Personally, I don’t always have time to respond on your schedule. I totally understand your reasoning for this, but I think it “takes away, more than it adds”.

Just my opinion.

So, in what way does supplying quotes from Obama that contradict Game's assertions "disconnect" me from "reality"?

Are you saying that Obama didn't say those things, or that he was lying?

If you are saying that he is lying, what evidence do you have other than your insane hatred of liberals?

one of my best friends is a hard core liberal...so I will not say I hate liberals in general...but I HATE....HATE liberalism and the destruction it does to society the punishment it puts on hard workers

Well realism,

First you’d have to take Obama’s word that he’d only “sit down with Hamas if they renounce terrorism”.

I’m afraid his “word” is a little suspect at the moment.

Ya, see, he’s a little like Jimmy Carter in his willingness to acknowledge terrorist.

Hamas should be shunned totally and completely, I don’t give a damn if they were “legally” elected (snicker, snicker). If people in certain countries realize that the world will not support, legitimize, or tolerate thug ass human rights stomping fiends, then maybe we can get on to real solutions.
