Only in the twisted worldview of Republicans could a person who grew up in a poor and/or single-parent home and succeeded based on their own outstanding talent and hard work (Obama, John Edwards) be an out-of-touch "elitist" while a person who lives in the highest echelons of power and money (earned by others, of course) can be worshipped as a "regular guy".

Realism,

Only in your world would a poor person be unable to become an elitist, and a rich person would know nothing of being a regular guy.

Do you realize how utterly ridiculous your statement is?

Real, didn't John Edwards (the self proclaimed narcissist) make his money on mesothelioma cases? So like, taking advantage of the sick and dying is now a "talent"?

And let's not talk about money made by other, eh? I believe it was Michelle Obama who said "someone is going to have to give up a piece of the pie so that someone else can have more." Then she spent $447.39 on a lobster dinner at the Waldorf Astoria. Guess she didn't mean SHE would have to give up a piece of the ole pie! Maybe someone else's money would do it? That's what Liberals do -- they want Other People to pay.
