Joey Vento takes on the cowards

Any liberal who is against what this guy stands for is once again hurting the people they pretend to care about. Assimilation is the pathway to success. If you can't speak English, or at least make the attempt, how successful are you going to be?

But once again, the ideals and failed liberal socialism makes sure the people who vote Democrat stay uneducated and dependent on the government forever.

Again you build your straw man. You assume liberals are against people learning english. Oh yes I am sure you have PROOF and everything. Lame game.

Ron,

I for one am happy that you realize the importance of assimilation!

So many times when Game attacks ridiculous stands from the left, it’s assumed that all left leaning posters on this site will defend the ridiculous, asinine, positions he reports on. Hell, some will even lamely attempt to defend the undefendable, just because their ego won’t let it slide.

Crazy aint it?

Ron,

There's no straw man here. When one considers the results of liberal proposals, it's not a stretch to say that "libs don't want..." whatever, as they continue to push the same failed policies. Bi-lingual education is not, I believe, a conservative idea. So it's not so much that libs don't want foreigners to learn English, it's that they are too willing to provide that which allows them to avoid doing so. Take away bi-lingual education, and they would be forced to learn English just to advance from grade to grade. One can assimilate and become an American without dispensing with honoring the culture from which they came. It just doesn't help to allow the former culture to trump the present culture. Fair enough?

Marshall, liberals are far more independent thinkers than you give them credit for. No presidential candidate liberal or conservative came out against learning english as a necessary way to succeed or even earn citizenship in this country. It's a strawman Marshall. Some are in favor or bilingual education because they think it is better than ignorance. It has nothing to do with hating America(as many like to call the United States) or the American way which is the strawman here. I totally understand their position although I would tend to favor the so called conservative approach here. Fair Enough?
