Republicans....wake up and listen to Paul Ryan

You don't have to agree to the letter with Paul Ryan, but at least he has the guts to come out and say that the liberalism and socialism that democrats and republicans have let take over our govt, country and economy will destroy us:

According to the Congressional Budget Office, Social Security, Medicare, Medicaid and the rest of government will consume nearly 40% of the economy by the time my three young children reach my age (38). This will require more than doubling the average tax burden of the past 40 years just to keep the government afloat. Continuing down this path will eventually strangle our economy.

read his op-ed in the wall street journal to hear about actual solutions to problems, not more pandering to everyone with their hand out looking for something...

All right, let’s get “real” about this whole debate. The liberal leadership (LL) in this country doesn’t want solutions! The more people that succeed in this country, the less LL supporters there will be.

Unfortunately, Mr. Ryan’s excellent solutions empower the individual and de-power the government; therefore, the chance of it ever becoming reality is pretty slim. Considering how the Republicans have been willing accomplices to the LL, don’t expect a whole lot of help.

The lefty leadership in this country has duped its followers (and users) into believing.

The Right has been rudderless. I’m looking over the last 30 Years of politics. If it weren’t for Regan, and later on the Contract With America, the Republicans wouldn’t stand a chance of “representing conservatism” in most conservative’s eyes. It appears the Republicans have been using whatever/whoever is convenient to retain power.

Yup. Politicians get votes by making people dependent on government. That's how they make themselves needed.

Where is our Thomas Jefferson that wants govt to do as little as possible?
