One of two things, or a bit of both:
1. He is flat out stupid and not nearly as well spoken and articulate as we thought.
2. When he messes up a story, or doesn't know what a holiday means, or doesn't know how many states there are, or doesn't know which states are next to other states, he shows he really doesn't care enough about these things to understand them.
When you add in the comments of his wife and priest, it makes it more and more clear that Obama has grown and has surrounded himself around people who do not like America. America is racist, a bully, war hungry and unfair to minorities and women.
After and entire life of hearing how bad America is, how can you not agree?
He doesn't care about Memorial Day, because it is a day about evil troops who kill people. We don't need war, and the army is racist anyway. Rich white guys tell poor black and Hispanic kids to die for their cause!!!
Obama always says he wants to change America because he and everyone around him think America sucks.
As he keeps talking more and more people are going to figure this out, I hope there are enough people smart enough to see past the empty suit that can only get a speech correct if he reads right off the page.

Yeah, Scorp. For some it just plain won't matter. BUT! if McCain is smart, he'll highlight as much of this stuff as possible and contrast himself boldly.

I think Buraq Obama is simply arrogant. He's on a cosmic mission to redeem the world -- nothing as humble as a fact really matters in that context.
