Tax problems derail fast Senate OK for Geithner

Here we go again, people that are "really smart" (because they are Dems) making lots and lots of "innocent mistakes."

You know what, if you have $34,000 of personal tax "mistakes" then you just don't have what it takes to run an entire countries finances...sorry.

If this was the other way around Dems would be hyperventilating over this.

but i thought the neocons were just mad joyous over barky's cabinet choices!!

so, putting aside geithner for the time being, do you have a choice for the spot you believe would be superior?

because, imho, we're just putting into place, the same clowns who helped the republicans get us into this crisis in the first place...

some of Obama's picks are fine, some are crap, like the CIA director and this one.
But see, I am able to look at each one individually, not have the blanket opposition like liberals do at anything Bush does...

Geithner served on Kissinger Associates, Inc., from '85 to '88 before joining the Treasury under....guess who? GHW Bush. If anybody Obama picks must be liberal, does that mean anybody picked by a Bush is conservative? C'mon Game, clear this up for us sheepish readers....

i look at all candidates and appointments on an individual basis, just as i look at all issues with a careful eye, and non-partisan approach toward logical solutions and effective problem-solving

time has shattered many illusions americans have had regarding political parties, affiliations, and failed policies all around

not enough to destroy the laziness and groupthink entirely, but enough to get us to question, not be so easily swayed by corrupted "opinion leaders" and their punditocracy

Hash has it nailed this time. Timmy is a tool of the fed and screw the nanny thing. I hate the guy because of is long work for those that are screwing us. I'm also not thrilled with Rahm and will only be happy about Holder if he presses charges against the current crop of crooks. Not likely.
You make far to many generalizations game. I know that on your side of the spectrum loyalty is always considered an asset or even a necessity but we don't all think like that. Something you should get use to.
