Does this guy every shut up
And when he does talk does he EVER know the facts, EVER.
He talks about health care, doesn't know the bill.
He throws out his race card that he expects to be able to use when, as is usually the case, there was no racism at all.
The great thing is he is looking like an ass AGAIN and the race card didn't work...

The police officer responding to a call..following standard procedure..is basically screamed at
while being called a racist..even though he handles the racial profiling training for his department...is now called stupid by "O" the entertainer...yes..there
is definitely stupidity here...but it's not the police officer....no imagination in that either....
Clearly, Obama made a mistake here. He shouldn't have made the comments he made. It's wrong to accuse Police of racism everytime without knowing all the details.
Would the officer have handcuffed a white man in the same situation?
Jim,
I think that the officer would have handcuffed a white man if he had acted the way this professor did. Again, I was not there - I'm saying this based on the police report and eye witness account. Plus, one of the officers was a black and the other one was Hispanic based on the reports.
In my opinion, certain groups in our society have the tendency to overreact under these circumstances (I can totally understand why they feel the way they do due to all the stuff that happened in the past). Even today, I'm sure there are racist Police officers out there who treat Black people very different from White people. We have seen it in the case of the NFL player who was rushing to see his dying mom-in-law.
But, in this case of Professor, I feel that we need to go a little slow before accusing officer of racism.
Honestly, I have issues with people who don't cooperate with officers. It makes their job more difficult. It could be the black professor asking for Police officer's ID OR some libertarian/Ron Paul supporters who confront Border Security officers. We need to look at the bigger picture and help them in doing their job.
Oh well, just one man's opinion.
Well done American...you are typically fair and honest...not always, but usually..and you are exactly right...not one thing wrong with that statement..
Sad to see we have so many race baiters still...but also very cool to see it doesnt really work anymore
Jim, nice try, this is about Obama.
Calibrate - to verify the accuracy of a measuring device (that is my definition not Webster)
Obama's calibrate - a really cool sounding word that the uneducated proletariat will not realize means WRONG, embarassingly wrong.
I think there is a difference between being a racist and treating people of color different from whites. I think that Gates may well have acted inappropriately. Anybody should show deference to a police officer regardless of the situation. It is the safest thing to do. People who resist, talk back or challenge often end up dead (see BART, New Years Eve).
That said, I don't believe anything that Gates did rose to the level being handcuffed and arrested. Once Gates identified himself and demonstrated that he was the owner of the house, the officer should have backed off. Being disrespectful to a cop is unwise but is not illegal. And I don't believe a white person would have been arrested.
HH: your comment deserves no response.
Yes, I know. There is no refuting truth.
Famous Jim quotes
"I think"
"I think"
"may well have"
"often end up dead" (that is a laugher)
"I don't believe"
"I don't believe"
All that in just the last post, such decisiveness Jim. How do you muster the courage to take such a forcefull stand on the topic?
Incidently, you still haven't commented on the actual topic. The post was in regards to Obama shutting up. Do you remember when Fonzy could never admit he was wr...wr...wr...wr...wrong. Well, Obama was uncalibrated, discalibrated, decalibrated, or more succinctly, wr....wr...wr...wr...wrong.
Jason, good example but I don't think it is an equivalent situation.
Humble, I didn't know having and expressing an opinion was against the rules here. In fact, I thought that was the idea.
So bite me.
"HH: your comment deserves no response." Jim to HH.
Perfect.
Jim, the whole point of this entire post is that Obama is the president opining on a situation in which he admittedly didn't know all the details. If game wanted your opinion about the arrest, I am sure he could have watched Keith Olbermann or Ed Schults (Ed shot his dog, which is worse than cheney if you ask me) to get it.
American said "HH: your comment deserves no response." Jim to HH. Perfect.
Jim's evaluation of my comment (specifically that it was undeserving of a response) was in itself a response. Thank you for verifying my hypothesis that "American has a public high school diploma". But, by all means, continue to support Jim in his inability to grasp the literal meaning of the post.
"...president opining on a situation in which he admittedly didn't know all the details..."
WMD, anybody?
@HH:
How did you know that I have a public high school diploma? Just curious.
Rush told me. Besides, if I was a high school teacher I would give you one if it meant not having you in my class again next year.
Ummm - Just confirming that you did talk to your most trusted, single source of information. Good job.
Ummmm - good, um, come back?
I would like to say that you should stick to the facts because you can't keep up with the witty banter, but then I realized that you can't deal with the truth either.
oh yea? Sure - I have the bad habit of reading multiple sources and taking an independent view on a given topic. I wish I was very smart like you so I could get all of my 'truth and facts' from one person/source. Way to go, buddy!
"I wish I was very smart like you so I could get all of my 'truth and facts' from one person/source."
Then why don't you ever cite your soreasses, I mean sources? Keith, Ed, and Rachel have websites don't they? But then again, your comments are either
1. BUSH DID IT FIRST, nanabooboo.
or
2. RUSH said it so that makes it wrong.
It doesn't require a source to do that.
nice
Nope - I never had to cite my 'sources' on this forum. Because....as I said earlier, I am not as smart as you....or game!! Smiles...
Besides..bigger laughs would be the result from getting these "knowledgeable" sources...that's ok..amusing enough already...
