Overhauling health-care system tops agenda at annual meeting of Canada's doctors

Just another story of a government run system not working. Liberals can say, "that is not how our system will work."
Yes, yes..i know..this one will be better...
Every single government run health care plan provides worse care at a higher cost. I'm just going to keep posting the facts, liberals can keep talking about the fantasy land socialized health care plan that will be the first in human history to work.

just one line from the article:
We all agree that the system is imploding, we all agree that things are more precarious than perhaps Canadians realize," Doing said in an interview with The Canadian Press.

Since there is no point in debating/discussing proposed Healthcare reforms with you, let me ask you these questions:

- Are you happy with the current system OR do you see any areas of improvements?
- Do you have any proposals to bring down the costs and make the system more efficient?
- Do you think Insurance companies are doing a good job? Or, you see any areas of improvements?
- What do you think of Medicare? You think we should cancel the program?

The current system works very well for almost everyone..and nothing is going to work for everyone..premiums are too high, that is the problem I see with it..especially for young and health americans.

Have more competition. You should be able to shop for a doctor or procedure like you do for a car or TV...health care plans should be like cable service..you can pick and choose what you want..that would bring costs down too..

I dont know what you mean by a good job...they offer insurrance..cant really say if they make too much profit since I see how wrong liberals are when to comes to oil companies and drug companies..

Really dont read up a whole lot about medicare..in general i dont believe we have a constitutional right to be given health care or too much of anything from our govt..everytime they give things away it gives people one more thing they do not have to be responsible for...sure, some would have trouble having health care, but if you planned for it and knew you had to have it you would figure out a way to get it...

The only problem with that is Time Warmer and Blue Cross have an interest in reducing competition.

What makes you think Medicare is being "given away"?
