Once Johnson is exposed as another countryclub millionaire posing as a pickup truck guy, voters will go back to Russ. This will all be fun to watch, especially the Teabagger revolt that chases away traditional conservatives in favor of unelectable morons. If it wasn't for the teabaggers the GOP might be able to get some seats back in Congress.
Why? We'll simply refuse to accept the results of the election like you did and make sure Democrats block EVERYTHING the Boner and Old McConnell try to do.
It's win-win for the Democrats. If they hold majorities, they'll be able to hold on to the many accomplishments they've made this term and hopefully do more. If they lose majorities, Americans will see what a useless bunch the Republicans are as they try to shut down the government, impeach the President, and try to further enrich their benefactors.
I'm surprised Feingold has that large of a percentage..
"If they hold majorities, they'll be able to hold on to the many socialist accomplishments they've made this term and hopefully do more."
Fixed!
"many socialist accomplishments"
And what exactly would those be?
Jim,
Probably the millions of customers the health care bill created for private insurance companies. Everyone knows socialism and private industry go hand-in-hand...
Everyone knows socialism and private industry go hand-in-hand...
This is true more often than not.
Progressives are the ones for corporate welfare, though they call their transportation graft "investing in our future," their subsidies for energy companies "creating green jobs," special favors for local companies "fair trade," etc. etc.
In contrast, a conservative (not necessarily a Republican) wants a profit-and-loss system. A progressive believes in taxing the crap out of businesses that are succeeding and bailing out those that are failing. Their healthcare bill is insane-- it will privatize profits and socialize losses, just like Bawney Fwank's banking queen agenda.
Those neo-cons at PPP/Daily Kos have Feingold down by 11. Enjoy:
Ron Johnson (R) 52
Sen. Russ Feingold (D) 41
