Iran only months away from a bomb
So, now instead of keeping enemies of the United States from obtaining nuclear weapons, we are going to have to deal with them. I agree that Israel should just blow their nuclear sites to kingdom come right now.
It's like in teaching...do you do what you need to do so you have a class under control from day one....or do you wait until they are out of control and suspend them....
The Left would wait until they actually are out of control....I say otherwise.

I was purged several months ago from DemocraticUnderground.com for *discussing* this issue, even though I had been a member since 2001.
I argued Iran's situation merits the treatment President Clinton gave Saddam Hussein in 1998 (without UN approval btw) -- immediate and comprehensive airstrikes against the WMD facilities. I was denounced as an imperialist while Ahmadinejad was praised "for standing up to Bush." People were actually talking about how Iran going nuclear would be a good thing, since it would stop "American hegemony."
Apparently being against the use of military force in all cases is an article of faith for today's Democratic Party. What were extremists a few years ago are now setting the agenda in these circles; they've moved waaaay to the left from where they were in the 90s.
Moderate voters like myself aren't pleased.
Iran intends to blow Israel off the map.
It is not imperialistic to deal with the menace. Looking the other way will not eliminate the threat. Action is necessary and the sooner the better.
