I took my oldest daughter to see "United 93" today. We were both choking back tears and anger as the movie unfolded. Even now, it's difficult to write because the emotions the film evokes are so strong.
It is one of the most powerful films I have ever experienced. It is ironic that the director Paul Greengrass, an admitted liberal, made such a powerful, moving and patriotic film. To the director's credit, he let the story tell itself, semi-documentary style, and made no excuses for the heinous acts of the terrorists.
"United 93" is required viewing by anyone who dares to offer an opinion on the war on terror. See the film so that you never forget that terrible day and those innocents murdered by radical Islamic fanatics. See it to honor the passengers of United 93's courage. They decided not to be victims, but heroes.

I would like to take credit, but EH wrote it...

So, will you stand by this slam (apparently EH's) against liberals? He (she? I don't know, I don't read that blog) implies that liberals cannot be patriotic. Do you agree?
I think some Democrats can be...but since liberals tend to bash the shit out this country every chance they can...can't see how liberals can be patriotic...
I guess it depends how far left you go...the farther left, the less chance of patriotism...atleast for this country...maybe mexico, cuba or the former USSR
