So, if we have to hear stories about how global warming is destroying the world after Katrina, then where are the stories about how the last two hurricane seasons are the least active on record. Now, anyone who knows anything about statistics and statistical significance knows that the data on my chart does not go far back enough to matter, but environmentalist don't care about that, since they believe in historic global warming with only 100 years of data.
Let's get some fair and balanced coverage.

The weight of global warming is crushing you guys. You're at the point where you are actually denying it. Even corporations like Duke Energy and Citigroup are working to find alternatives. But, rather than work for progress.. you guys would rather stand in the middle of the highway. As for this being the "religion" of the left. I dont know if I would characterize it that way. Science is hardly a religion. Its based on peer review and continual testing. Religion suggests a faith that science doesnt allow. You rightists and your war on science forget that the subject is not static.
Btw.. I couldnt get your link to work yesterday. So, I looked up the information myself. After sifting through story after story about India's increased tropical cyclones, I finally came to this story. It seems there is two ways to look at the data. Which, I'm sure Game has considered since he is a partisan hack. If you look at Net Topical Cyclone activity, then you see we are in a slightly above average season. Basically, depending on which data you suppress and which data you highlight.. determines your outcome.
Jim and others deserve a gold star for having to put up with the idiotic comments that come from the extreme rightist. The screeching and whining that comes from them.. eek.. Just wish they would grow up.

You say that those who believe that there are serious ramifications of Global Warming are "some chuckleheads". And I'm wondering how nutty are those who believe the Rapture is nigh.
So is it just the Christian end-timers you're concerned with, or also the followers of Nostradamus and other seers? Why the interest anyway? Are you trying to compare it to Gore's end-times pronouncements?

I can make an argument, based on scientific method, that the data being used, and the conclusions made on faulty data is flawed. You COULD try and argue that people have caused global warming and show proof that what we are doing will slow it down or stop it.
