WOLF WARNED: NO GANGING UP ON HILLARY IN VEGAS!

CNN's Wolf Blitzer has been warned not to focus Thursday's Dem debate on Hillary. 'This campaign is about issues, not on who we can bring down and destroy,' top Clinton insider explains. 'Blitzer should not go down to the levels of character attack and pull 'a Russert.'' Blitzer is set to moderate debate from Vegas, with questions also being posed by Suzanne Malveaux... Developing...

See, Russert asked some actual questions, did some actual journalism, and everyone goes nuts. We can't ask Hillary any hard questions, ask her to actually explain and defend her positions. We'll have the hard questions for the Republican debates. And you wonder why over 60% of the American people think the media is biased.

It seems that Drudge had a little fun with the title. His page had a 3-4 sentence blurb that failed to indicate a warning by Sen. Clinton's staff. Her staff issued a few comments prior to the debate to frame the narrative- shocking.

Much ado about nothing.

Russert did press Sen. Clinton on some issues and she failed to offer completely forthcoming answers. However, factcheck.org indicates that Russert was off-base as well.

They made a correction on there as well...and even if ONE question wasn't framed the best, that doesn't excuse any of her answers or any of his questions besides that one..

I really think the Clinton campaign is trying to dictate what questiong La Clinton will be asked. Here is more on the question planting scandal:

Hillary is a wimp. She can't face the music.

It is interesting seeing how terrible she looked the first time someone had the guts to ask her the first hard questions of her life...

JACK CAFFERTY (commentator): Usually, we only do one question at a time in these segments, but, today, I have an extra question. And it has to do with the Drudge Report and my pal, Wolf Blitzer. I was clicking on the Drudge Report, and there you are, big as life, in the middle of the Drudge Report this afternoon, with a headline suggesting that the Hillary Clinton campaign is trying to intimidate you before you moderate this big debate in Las Vegas. What up with that?

BLITZER: Not true. No one has pressured me. No one has threatened me. No one is trying to intimidate me.

CAFFERTY: They'd better not. I'll come down there.

BLITZER: No one has even called me to try to pressure me or anything like that.

CAFFERTY: Where do -- where does a silly thing like that come from?

BLITZER: I don't know. You know, I try to suspect that maybe some rival campaigns are trying to create a little mischief, try to get her embarrassed a little bit getting into the debate Thursday night, but I have no idea where it's coming from. I have no idea who generated this story, but I can tell you I have not felt any pressure whatsoever.

If this is true (Jay Bullock's reference), it shows how partisan hacks can be easily fooled by their respective masters!! Disgusting!!

But then, don't expect any apologies for spreading liese!!!

So, Wolf saying nothing happened means nothing happened???
Okay then...

Well, Game, it means one of two things is true: Either A, Wolf is telling the truth and he has not gotten even so much as a phone call mnaking him feel intimidated; or 2, an anonymous unsourced Drudge teaser piece is accurate and Blitzer lied to Cafferty's face.

What pisses me off is that now, whatever Blitzer does, this debate will have been manipulated by the conservative attack press. If he asks fewer questions of Hillary than in previous debates, then it will be "proof" that Clinton intimidated him into silence; if he goes the other way and asks more (and more ridiculous) questions to proved he's not a made man then it ends up as more gratuitous attacks on the presumptive frontrunner.

Clever and insidious, yes, but dirty pool nonetheless.

Jay, and the Clinton crime family doesn't manipulate the press? What do you call planting the questions in the first place? Oh, for Democrats, that is business as usual and nothing the sheeple ought to take note of.

Jay forgot number 3:
Wolf is covering for Hillary...

Jay, you were saying? What about asking Hillary about her flip-flops concerning NY Driver's licenses for illegals? Oh, not a big deal since some of the 9/11 terrorists had NY driver's licenses for ID.
