City Vehicles Painted with Anti-Obama Sayings

It is possible these are some right wing people...
But based on just about every other story of "racism" it is usually liberals having to make up fake cases of racism to further their cause...
We shall see what happens here...

For those of you who don't remember, here are a few cases of liberals making up cases of racism:

MPS lags in special ed funds

Just read MPS's answer to why they don't get enough aid, it doesn't even make sense.
Once again, we see that MPS is filled with incompetent people who are either to lazy or stupid to do their jobs properly.
The joke among those of us who are professionals and can do a good job is that the more incompetent you are, the higher up the ladder you go in MPS.
The sad thing is the number of people who simply have no clue at all keeps going up.
A lot of people who just come to school to collect a paycheck, don't have a real teaching license, have no skills, no work ethic.
So again, the children get hurt and we create another generation of kids who have no job skills, and the only job they they are going to be able to do is work at Walmart, fast food or MPS.

Gas could fall to $2 if Congress acts, analysts say

Once again, liberals are directly negatively affecting your lives.
They are making your gas twice as high as it should be...
They don't let us drill
they don't let us refine
They don't like the fact we use gas at all as has been proven by liberals comment on this very blog...

McCain proposes something that can help the economy better than any other plan mentioned...and it is shot down by Obama.
I know Obama thinks taxing the crap out of companies (who create jobs) and rich people (who spend lots of money) will fix everything.
Just remember that every single thing that liberals have EVER introduced has hurt anyone who wants America to be a better place...a place where the responsible are not constantly punished.

Because of the failed thought of liberals your gas is 4 bucks a gallon...period

Republicans introduced a bill to drill in Alaska ten years ago, it would be online NOW.
Liberals complain that we have to use alternative fuels and energy...While that sounds good, they have been saying that for 40 YEARS...how long are we going to wait for them to get their act together...how long can you let your gas get more expensive, how long can you let the economy and quality of life in America deteriorate...

Liberals then show they don't have a clue and put up graphs and charts showing that more drilling is only a small percentage of oil produced...this article shows that (as with most things) a liberals simplistic thought process is a detriment to the cause.

If the US showed the world they were going to stop being brain dead and use just a small amount of common sense the rest of the world would figure out they couldn't keep inflating the price of oil since the United States was going to stop listening to the hippies and use its own resources.

Just think if you told our founding fathers what the hippie environmentalist liberals created a climate where we can't use our own energy resources and have to get it from other countries...
They would have laughed you out of the building.
But this isn't funny.
Wake up America
Stop allowing liberals to hurt you directly, personally on a daily basis.

Marcus Ampetheatre: Stevie Wonder (you can still get a few tickets in the red section, plenty in the bleachers)
Miller Lite Oasis: Lee Ann Rimes
Briggs backyard: Eric Burdon and the Animals at 6pm...Gnarls Barkley at 11
Harley Stage: Little Big Town

Bingo Pavillion: Cross Canadian Ragweed at 6...Cowboy Mouth at 11
Classic Rock stage: Three Dog Night
US Cellular Stage: They might be Giants

Those are the big ones for Thursday
Feel free to leave comments about the shows as you go and see them.
Question: Is Summerfest better with the new model or the old business model:

Old model: Cheap tix, easy to get in so you have 950000 people in 11 days or
New model: very hard to get a free ticket, more expensive, more music appealing to an older crowd which will only hit around 800000-850000...but they make more money for now...

I understand the money thing, but I also think that people start going when they are young and think it is the hip, cool thing to do. They continue to go multiple days their whole lives.
Now, you might get more money in the short run, but will all these young people keep paying almost 20 bucks a day to get in? If they think summerfest is an old white guy festival will that kill its coolness? Will we lose the next generation of people who want to go to summerfest and spend money?

McGee guilty on all 9 counts

A federal jury has convicted former Milwaukee alderman Michael McGee on all nine counts in trial on charges of shaking down business owners.McGee, 38, was found guilty of five counts of bribery, two counts of extortions as well as attempted extortion and failing to file forms with a $15,000 transaction. He faces up to 30 years at his sentencing Oct. 24.

It's good to see "thug Mike" might get what he deserves
I would hope that the inner city youth that think McGee's path is not a one you should be going down see what happened to him today and learn a lesson.

Just remember McGee did most of this criminal behavior AFTER he won a recall election...
But no matter how good of a criminal McGee wanted to be, he was not even close to Obama's good friend tony rezko

Dobson accuses Obama of `distorting' Bible

"Even if we did have only Christians in our midst, if we expelled every non-Christian from the United States of America, whose Christianity would we teach in the schools?" Obama said. "Would we go with James Dobson's or Al Sharpton's?" referring to the civil rights leader.
Dobson took aim at examples Obama cited in asking which Biblical passages should guide public policy - chapters like Leviticus, which Obama said suggests slavery is OK and eating shellfish is an abomination, or Jesus' Sermon on the Mount, "a passage that is so radical that it's doubtful that our own Defense Department would survive its application."
"Folks haven't been reading their Bibles," Obama said.
Dobson and Minnery accused Obama of wrongly equating Old Testament texts and dietary codes that no longer apply to Jesus' teachings in the New Testament.
"I think he's deliberately distorting the traditional understanding of the Bible to fit his own worldview, his own confused theology," Dobson said.
"... He is dragging biblical understanding through the gutter."
Joshua DuBois, director of religious affairs for Obama's campaign, said in a statement that a full reading of Obama's speech shows he is committed to reaching out to people of faith and standing up for families. "Obama is proud to have the support of millions of Americans of faith and looks forward to working across religious lines to bring our country together," DuBois said.
Dobson reserved some of his harshest criticism for Obama's argument that the religiously motivated must frame debates over issues like abortion not just in their own religion's terms but in arguments accessible to all people.
He said Obama, who supports abortion rights, is trying to govern by the "lowest common denominator of morality," labeling it "a fruitcake interpretation of the Constitution."
"Am I required in a democracy to conform my efforts in the political arena to his bloody notion of what is right with regard to the lives of tiny babies?" Dobson said. "What he's trying to say here is unless everybody agrees, we have no right to fight for what we believe."

Democrats focus on race

Which group focuses on race?
Which group is obsessed with race and gender?
I think it was Obama who is the first to bring up race in this election.
He WANTS anything said about him to be labeled "racist"
He is a typical, average, not special AT ALL liberal politician.
He has the playbook and he is using it to the letter.
He is the one going to a racist church for 20 years
He is the one who took Muslims out of his picture
It was a fellow Democrat who recently said Obama didn't have "slave blood" in him

EVERYTHING is thought of in terms of race, gender and economic status to the Dems

400 now waiting for food assistance

I see a lot of flooding in Jefferson county and other counties around the state...
Didn't know hundreds if not thousands of people from the city of Milwaukee were flooded out of their homes.
Around my house people had some basement damage, but around my house people are taking care of themselves and I don't see anyone who is starving because they had their couch get wet in their basement.
This is the liberal/democratic mentality..and these types of people...people who are always looking to get something for nothing were created by failed liberal social programs of the last 40 years.

Plan calls for boarding school by 2011

I have been calling for this for years...
Apart from every inner city leader becoming a conservative and teaching about family, personal responsibility and shame for poor behavior, this is the only way to change the terrible, anti-social behavior that has destroyed much of the city of Milwaukee.

The question will be if this school will be run by conservative-military types or the same failed liberal ideas that have failed the poor for over 40 years.

Good news for our military and country, bad news for liberals and their media

Only ABC Airs Full Story on Good Iraq News, NBC Can't Resist Caveat

The Pentagon on Monday released a quarterly report showing dramatic reductions in violence in Iraq compared to a year earlier, but only ABC aired a full story Monday evening while NBC gave it short-shrift as anchor Brian Williams cited the reduction in violence “by as much as 80 percent” since “before the so-called troop surge.” He then added a caveat about how the report “also warns the positive trend here remains, quote, 'fragile, reversible and uneven.'” CBS didn't mention the Department of Defense report, but gave a few seconds to a front page USA Today story on how the number of Americans killed by roadside bombs has plummeted 88 percent from a year ago.

McCain offers $300 million for new auto battery

I'm one step closer to being an actual McCain supporter and not just a BHO hater...

I thought of something like this two months ago...but it was a little different.
I said the first car company who can make a car that runs with NO oil, is safe and cost effective doesn't have to pay taxes for 5 years.

See, here is McCain giving another actual idea toward a solution to a problem.
That is much different than BHO who just spews out 1970's Carter and dirty hippie talking points that didn't solve anything in 1970 and they will do nothing now.

McCain plan: drill now while trying to get new technology
BHO plan: Raise taxes and bitch.

Sunday, June 22, 2008

You want to talk about "talking points"

This is amazing.
Dems come on here and simply throw out comments that we just say whatever Rush or Hannity says and we can't think for ourselves...

All of a sudden, every single liberal is saying the exact same thing about drilling, EXACT SAME THING

Something like this:
Well, oil companies already have leases for xxx acres of coast line and they are only drilling in xxx. Why do they need more acres to drill???

And you know what...if oil companies have access to viable land that has available oil and are not drilling, that would be wrong.
However, I'd like a few questions answered first:
1. Are there so many lawsuits, protests and regulations that it makes it impossible to drill in some of these places?
2. What is the availability of this oil as opposed to other areas that are "off limits."
3. What evidence is there that drilling destroys the environment (I mean, something a little fresher than 1965).
4. What is the reason oil companies would not want to get all the oil they can and sell it at the insane prices we have right now. The argument that they are not drilling on purpose makes no sense.
5. Why did the Dems sign a letter to the President trying to get Saudi Arabia to produce more oil? Why do Dems think we need more oil, but want us to depend on other countries to get it.

Again, it is insane. We handcuff ourselves in ways that hurt our country. In the history books countries searched the entire Earth looking for resources, we have them and we have morons blocking us from using them

Let's see if any liberal, or anyone for that matter, can answer any of my five points...
I'll wait until some liberal web site or the DNC type up your talking points.

More politics as usual for Obama

Here is the latest round of Obama being a common politician:

Obama says his health care plan will garner large savings – $120 billion a year, or $2,500 per family – with more than half coming from the use of electronic health records. And he says he’ll make that happen in his first term. We find his statements to be overly optimistic, misleading and, to some extent, contradicted by one of his own advisers. And it masks the true cost of his plan to cover millions of Americans who now have no health insurance.
Obama cites a RAND study that found widespread use of electronic health records could save up to $77 billion a year in overall health care spending. But the study says that level of savings won’t be reached until 2019, when it projects 90 percent of hospitals and doctors would be using electronic records systems.
Much could be done to speed up the adoption of electronic record-keeping. But experts, including the lead researcher on the RAND study, are extremely doubtful the U.S. could see widespread adoption in the first term of an Obama presidency, or even a second term. Even a campaign adviser acknowledges Obama’s plan likely won’t reach the full savings potential until five years into implementation, by which time Obama could be out of office.
Obama says he’ll "lower premiums by up to $2,500 for a typical family per year” by investing in electronic health records as well as other efforts. But his adviser tells us that $2,500 figure includes savings to government and employers that could, theoretically, lead to lower taxes or higher wages for families – so we shouldn't necessarily expect insurance premiums that are "lower" by that amount.
The RAND study on which the campaign partly bases its estimates is one of the only reports available on possible cost savings. It may well be correct – no one knows for sure. But it looks at potential savings in an ideal situation and recently has faced criticism.

Obama announced he would become the first presidential candidate since 1972 to rely totally on private donations for his general election campaign, opting out of the system of public financing and spending limits that was put in place after the Watergate scandal. One reason, he said, is that "John McCain’s campaign and the Republican National Committee are fueled by contributions from Washington lobbyists and special interest PACs."We find that to be a large exaggeration and a lame excuse. In fact, donations from PACs and lobbyists make up less than 1.7 percent of McCain's total receipts, and they account for only about 1.1 percent of the RNC's receipts.

Obama has released his first post-primary ad, a 60-second spot that's airing in 18 battleground states. In effect, "Country I Love" is Obama's first ad of the general election campaign, and as such it invites scrutiny. (FactCheck will address McCain's first general election ads in a separate article.) We don't find this ad egregiously misleading, but it paints a picture of Obama's accomplishments that could leave viewers with a misimpression or two.
The ad talks about laws that Obama "passed," but in fact, he sponsored only one of the three bills mentioned and cosponsored another. The third included provisions from some bills he'd sponsored earlier, but his name wasn't attached to the one that passed. And two of the three laws were accomplishments of the Illinois Legislature, not the U.S. Senate.

So Obama's own first add shows he has accomplished NOTHING as a Senator at any level and he just makes up things to make his own lying and flip flopping look good. Sounds like a below-average politician to me.

Obama opts out of public campaign finance system

Democratic presidential candidate Barack Obama said Thursday he'll bypass the federal public financing system in the general election, abandoning an earlier commitment to take the money if his Republican rival did as well.

Obama shows again he is a liar, and it is politics as usual
Let's see how many stories we get about this on tonight's newscasts...
The obvious media bias is really getting sickening...
Did they report on the Muslim women getting tossed out of pictures with Obama yet?
Was it on all the nightly news shows last night?
With fair media coverage Obama would get his ass kicked.

And just read another lame-ass, empty answer from Obama.

"But the public financing of presidential elections as it exists today is broken, and we face opponents who've become masters at gaming this broken system."

Way to say NOTHING again

GREAT response from McCain:
The McCain campaign, in a statement, said Obama "has revealed himself to be just another typical politician who will do and say whatever is most expedient for Barack Obama.
"Barack Obama is now the first presidential candidate since Watergate to run a campaign entirely on private funds. This decision will have far-reaching and extraordinary consequences that will weaken and undermine the public financing system."

Americans agree on answer to gas prices: Drill now

Liberals are going to get beat up on this if the media reports it correctly and fairly...

The survey found 67 percent of voters support drilling for oil off American coasts, and 64 percent believe it at least somewhat likely drilling will lead to lower prices at the pump.

Deals With Iraq Are Set to Bring Oil Giants Back

What do you think will happen if we elect BHO and he creates a new Vietnam?
Well, no oil...
No freedom
No life for many people (literally, no life)
Prosperity, jobs, a future for Iraq and the world....gone...
I'll thank BHO in advance for f-ing everything up...

McCain calls for building 45 new nuclear reactors

Finally!!!
McCain finds a brain...
Keep up these winning issues...
Americans are going to finally get sick of liberals directly negatively affecting their lives.
Higher taxes
bigger welfare state
more losers to take care of
higher gas prices
higher food prices
higher taxes again

Bush calls on Congress to lift offshore drilling ban

That's great...
Republicans are on the right side of the issue finally...
But where have you been all this time...
Liberals, as usual, are still and will forever be on the wrong side of another issue

Muslims barred from picture at Obama event

Why is this?
Why does Obama and his supporters think there is something wrong with being Muslim???

Tuesday, June 17, 2008

Politics as usual

As usual, liberals lie about republicans to win and NO ONE challenges them
The media says nothing, you will not see anyone on any newscast say that moveon.org is invoking "hate speech."

McCain did NOT say he wanted to be in Iraq for 100 years, but since liberals need to lie to win an argument, they take the few words they need and twist what the other side thinks. That is because if you debate a liberal on facts alone, they would never win any national election.

Here is the disgusting ad

Obama shows ignornace on another issue: energy

McCain has finally shown a small amount of common sense and said that Americans should drill for their own oil.
Wow...that is genius!!!
Liberals complain that Saudi Arabia is not drilling more, while at the same time they have destroyed our ability to grow our economy and produce energy for ourselves.

Then Obama says this:
"But his decision to completely change his position and tell a group of Houston oil executives exactly what they wanted to hear today was the same Washington politics that has prevented us from achieving energy independence for decades,"

What the hell is he talking about?
The policy to not drill for our own oil? No nuclear reactors? No new refineries?

Again, Obama says NOTHING. He doesn't understand a damn thing about ANYTHING!!!
His kind (liberals) are bringing the greatest country in the world to her knees because of algores man made global warming and some hippies who still think we drill for oil like we did in 1965.
PEOPLE WAKE UP. Obama will not solve this issue nor ANY issue.
Tax tax tax, spend spend spend....that is his answer for everything.

Just to top it off, the empty suit says this:
Much like his gas tax gimmick that would leave consumers with pennies in savings, opening our coastlines to offshore drilling would take at least a decade to produce any oil at all

Bill Clinton said that as well...we could be getting that oil RIGHT NOW...
Thank your nearest liberal the next time you fill up for 100 bucks.

Lack of reporting about Iowa

I think there is some sort of conspiracy going on in regard to the total destruction of, basically, the entire state of Iowa.
Based on past natural disasters in the South where towns were completely flooded, I have yet to see the telecast of the Governor of Iowa's press conference crying on TV and blaming GWB for not saving them.
I have not seen the coverage of all the mayors of all the towns in Iowa that are completely flooded on TV complaining about the lack of help of the federal government.
In fact, I think this coverage is racist.
All we have are newspaper stories and nightly news reports of people working together and trying to save their towns.
The media has not reported on all the looting and shootings going on in Iowa right now.
Why not?
Why did they take all those pics of people stealing in New Orleans, and show people shooting at rescue helicopters?
You would think this country would have finally gotten past all the stereotypes and racist coverage since we have a black man running for President.
But we can see, that when the chips are down, the media goes right back to their racist tendencies and makes sure to put all the whining and bitching and complaining and blaming everyone but yourselves in New Orleans, but in Iowa the media refuses to show all of that and only shows the pictures of people helping out their neighbor and understanding that it is not the role of the federal government to do everything for them.
It's like the media is making the point that people who grew up with the understanding that they were in control of their own lives and they were responsible to better their situation are much better off than all the people who grew up with their hands out, had no one at any point tell that right and wrong behavior (because right and wrong is different for everyone) and that when you are not given everything you want it is because "George Bush does not care about black people."
I'm sick and tired of all this slanted coverage.
I'm sure we will get the reports of the looting and murders and the press conference of the mayor or Iowa City telling everyone that their town will become a chocolate city once again.

BUSH'S AMERICA: 100 PERCENT AL-QAIDA FREE SINCE 2001

so so perfect:

In a conversation recently, I mentioned as an aside what a great president George Bush has been and my friend was surprised. I was surprised that he was surprised. I generally don't write columns about the manifestly obvious, but, yes, the man responsible for keeping Americans safe from another terrorist attack on American soil for nearly seven years now will go down in history as one of America's greatest presidents. Produce one person who believed, on Sept. 12, 2001, that there would not be another attack for seven years, and I'll consider downgrading Bush from "Great" to "Really Good." Merely taking out Saddam Hussein and his winsome sons Uday and Qusay (Hussein family slogan: "We're the Rape Room People!") constitutes a greater humanitarian accomplishment than anything Bill Clinton ever did -- and I'm including remembering Monica's name on the sixth sexual encounter. But unlike liberals, who are so anxious to send American troops to Rwanda or Darfur, Republicans oppose deploying U.S. troops for purely humanitarian purposes. We invaded Iraq to protect America. It is unquestionable that Bush has made this country safe by keeping Islamic lunatics pinned down fighting our troops in Iraq. In the past few years, our brave troops have killed more than 20,000 al-Qaida and other Islamic militants in Iraq alone. That's 20,000 terrorists who will never board a plane headed for JFK -- or a landmark building, for that matter. We are, in fact, fighting them over there so we don't have to fight them at, say, the corner of 72nd and Columbus in Manhattan -- the mere mention of which never fails to enrage liberals, which is why you should say it as often as possible. The Iraq war has been a stunning success. The Iraqi army is "standing up" (as they say), fat Muqtada al-Sadr --the Dr. Phil of Islamofascist radicalism -- has waddled off in retreat to Iran, and Sadr City and Basra are no longer war zones. Our servicemen must be baffled by the constant nay-saying coming from their own country. The Iraqis have a democracy -- a miracle on the order of flush toilets in that godforsaken region of the world. Despite its newness, Iraq's democracy appears to be no more dysfunctional than one that would condemn a man who has kept the nation safe for seven years while deifying a man who has accomplished absolutely nothing in his entire life except to give speeches about "change." (Guess what Bill Clinton's campaign theme was in 1992? You are wrong if you guessed: "bringing dignity back to the White House." It was "change." In January 1992, James Carville told Steve Daley of The Chicago Tribune that it had gotten to the point that the press was complaining about Clinton's "constant talk of change.") Monthly casualties in Iraq now come in slightly lower than a weekend with Anna Nicole Smith. According to a CNN report last week, for the entire month of May, there were only 19 troop deaths in Iraq. (Last year, five people on average were shot every day in Chicago.) With Iraqi deaths at an all-time low, Iraq is safer than Detroit -- although the Middle Eastern food is still better in Detroit. Al-Qaida is virtually destroyed, surprising even the CIA. Two weeks ago, The Washington Post reported: "Less than a year after his agency warned of new threats from a resurgent al-Qaida, CIA Director Michael V. Hayden now portrays the terrorist movement as essentially defeated in Iraq and Saudi Arabia and on the defensive throughout much of the rest of the world, including in its presumed haven along the Afghanistan-Pakistan border." It's almost as if there's been some sort of "surge" going on, as strange as that sounds. Just this week, The New York Times reported that al-Qaida and other terrorist groups in Southeast Asia have all but disappeared, starved of money and support. The U.S. and Australia have been working closely with the Philippines, Malaysia and Indonesia, sending them counterterrorism equipment and personnel. But no one notices when 9/11 doesn't happen. Indeed, if we had somehow stopped the 9/11 attack, we'd all be watching Mohammed Atta being interviewed on MSNBC, explaining his lawsuit against the Bush administration. Maureen Dowd would be writing columns describing Khalid Sheik Mohammed as a "wannabe" terrorist being treated like Genghis Khan by an excitable Bush administration. We begin to forget what it was like to turn on the TV, see a tornado, a car chase or another Pamela Anderson marriage and think: Good -- another day without a terrorist attack. But liberals have only blind hatred for Bush -- and for those brute American interrogators who do not supply extra helpings of béarnaise sauce to the little darlings at Guantanamo with sufficient alacrity. The sheer repetition of lies about Bush is wearing people down. There is not a liberal in this country worthy of kissing Bush's rear end, but the weakest members of the herd run from Bush. Compared to the lickspittles denying and attacking him, Bush is a moral giant -- if that's not damning with faint praise. John McCain should be so lucky as to be running for Bush's third term. Then he might have a chance.

Liberals WANT the American people to think the war in Iraq is a failure, when it is clear to anyone actually associated with the Iraq war that it is now a huge, huge success. I am open to the fact that the USA can do good in the middle east as opposed to libeals, who want and need us to lose in Iraq.
Sorry liberals, things are going GREAT there...thanks to GWB.

Malik Obama confirms his half-brother Barack grew up a Muslim

Why does he have to lie about who he is?
Well, in a general election all liberals have to lie about their beliefs to get elected, but Obama seems to have to lie about everything he does and everyone around him.

Apparently the Obamas of Kenya have been reading those scurrilous emails to which Barack likes to refer, because they have no doubt -- contrary to the claims of the Obama campaign, that the presidential candidate was raised a Moslem. They take that as a given.

Melanie Phillips is the most recent commentator to draw attention to the massive body of evidence that leaves no doubt that Barak Hussein Obama was born a Muslim (Islam is patrilineal) and raised a Muslim (so registered in school, acknowledging attending Islamic classes, reported accompanying his step-father to the mosque, and able to recite the Koran in the original Arabic).

Doyle should donate the money

MADISON – After news broke yesterday that Governor Doyle held a campaign fundraiser instead of helping flood victims Tuesday, the Republican Party of Wisconsin Chairman Reince Priebus, along with conservatives across the state like radio hosts Jerry Bader and Vicki McKenna, called on Doyle to donate the money he raised golfing to the flood cause.“With Barack Obama in the state, Obama’s top campaign staffer, Jim Doyle, gave voters a glimpse of the Democrats’ priorities this year – politics over Wisconsin families,” said Priebus. “Thousands of families spent the day cleaning-up flood damage while Doyle raised thousands of dollars golfing, the least he can do is donate his proceeds to their behalf.”Governor Doyle held his golf outing Tuesday charging $1,250 a person.

A Video Portrait Of Barack Hussein Obama

wow is this video good
It starts off slow...but it shows video of Obama NOT putting his hand on his heart during the National Anthem...liberals come on here and just lie and try and dismiss all the truths that are said about Obama.
They have to lie, they have to attack anyone who shows the American people the truth about Obama.
They know if Americans take all the things in this video and put them together, you see a man who is surrounded by racists for over 20 years and people who hate this country.
I'm sure Obama has heard "God damn America" many, many times. Obama has shown signs of this as well especially when he clearly refused to put his hand over his heart for the National Anthem.
Listen to all Obama's racist comments (I know they are not racist because only whites are racist) in this video alone.
Thinking that someone like this could be President of our country makes me sick.

Good news! Gasoline supply to be increased, with seven new refineries!

Bad news! They’re in Iran

I know, Jay likes to say that the evil oil companies don't want new refineries, but I have posted stories about companies trying to build new refineries and have so much red tape and protests it ends up costing too much to build one...
We are really screwing up on this issue

Riverside a study in contrasts

Very good article.
I'll list some of the highlights, but one of the main points is this:
This is a "good" school for MPS, but when compared to pretty much any other school, it isn't even close. The problem: MPS students and teachers are okay with mediocre work. It's okay that every adult in the building has to ask you to go to class. The standards are not there in the community and therefore are much harder to have in school.
Then you have the fact that the kids and teachers from Riverside blame the police for what happened.
It these were such great kids they would not be assaulting cops and trying to take their weapons.
More in the depression of inner city public schools. "Good kids" in MPS are kids that try to steal cops guns.
I'm going to guess "good kids" at Nicolet have never kicked a cop in the head or tried to steal their guns.

Highlights from the article:
Like the statements made by students waiting for buses at N. Oakland Ave. and E. Locust St., the spot where trouble broke out after school Tuesday, leaving three police officers injured and seven people arrested. Many were angry at the police, who, they felt, acted too aggressively.
Like the statements made by numerous students and teachers, who said news reports unfairly blemished the reputation of the school, as if it were the media’s fault that the officers were hurt.

Riverside made it a few weeks ago on the Newsweek magazine list of the top 1,300 high schools in the U.S., one of only 21 Wisconsin schools on the list. Yet the test scores for tenth-graders this year were under statewide averages by large margins.
The school is known for the high percentage of students who take Advanced Placement courses, but it is also a place where only 61% of tenth-graders were rated as proficient or better in reading this year, compared with 74% statewide. The math figure was 42% at Riverside, 68% in Wisconsin as a whole.
To be sure, compared with other MPS high schools, and in some cases with the state as a whole, Riverside is a high performer. The graduation rate was 91% for 2005-’06, compared with 68% for MPS and 89% for the state. The school reports that 64% of graduates go on to four-year colleges, compared with 31% for MPS and 52% for the state.
Attendance is a little under 90%, 10 points above the average MPS high school, and the average score on the ACT college entrance exam in 2006-’07 was 19.2, compared with 18.0 in MPS — but 22.3 statewide.
The student body of the school is 66% African-American, 16% Hispanic, 11% white and 7% Asian.

Here is a school which is almost 90% minority, which is known for seriousness in the work of both its faculty and students, which has some of the top performing kids in Milwaukee (and a waiting list to get in) — yet, for whatever reasons, it still stands at a distance from its whiter, suburban peers when it comes to both academics and daily life.

You can see the differences inside Riverside — or just about any high school in Milwaukee — where maintaining control is a constant matter of vigilance. Principals spend their time sweeping the halls of straggling students, checking known trouble spots, monitoring the doors. Lunch periods are a time for all security hands to be on duty, keeping an eye out. Riverside Principal Dan Donder — not a small man physically — starts most class hours with a near-sprint through the hallways telling students to get moving to class.

The often-boisterous conduct of the kids and the regular presence of Milwaukee police outside the school during that period — along with occasional incidents as students leave — put elements in the atmosphere that you don’t find in more economically upscale settings.

Dems pound McCain for new Iraq quote

Obama is quickly showing that he is not the person of "change"
He is sticking to liberal tricks and the regular political crap that everyone is sick of...
Of course, he will be able to get away with dirty attacks and still be protected from the media
They take a quote out of context...something that is NOT change for a politician
And simply saying "McCain is just doing what Bush did" for every answer about any McCain position should already be old to anyone with a brain.
Obama shows that he is an empty suit, a regular, not even good politician with really no skill besides spewing the party line.

Lake Delton to be dry this year

Very interesting to read about this situation.
They answer my question:
How long would it take to re-fill the lake?
Answer: 14 days
The problem is that they can't fill it until they fix the breach.
UPDATE
more video of Lake Delton

Students scuffle with police

This should depress anyone who has any hope that the inner city can improve.
It gets worse and worse and worse.
Now kids think it is okay to kick cops in the nose.
Frankly, I am sick and tired of it.
The fact is things are never going to get better, because they don't want it to get better....they simply want to act worse and worse and more anti-social and more criminal.
It makes me sick.
Maybe I should follow the advice of every single person that I talk to and get the hell out of here.

Senate GOP blocks windfall taxes on Big Oil

Good.
I know the easy thing to do is blame oil companies.
I have tried to explain why oil companies are making more money, but some here don't seem to have enough upstairs to understand this easy concept.
But this is how liberalism works, you play off people's emotions and look for easy, big-government regulated answers.
It is not that easy.
This is not hard to figure out:
1. If you tax a business, what are they doing to do: Raise prices to get back that money lost. So when they tax the profits of a company, they are raising your taxes.
2. Oil companies have nothing to do with the price of a barrel of oil, that is controlled by GWB (jk)...that is controlled by supply and demand. Since environmentalist idiots have made sure we have no increased supply, the fact that demand has gone through the roof makes the price go up.
3. There is nothing we can do about the fact India and China are taking up more and more of the worlds oil.

Here is what we SHOULD do:
1. Drill for our own oil.
2. Look for ways to use less oil
3. Build more nuclear plants.

Now, liberals will argue that it will take years to drill and build plants...well, Clinton vetoed a bill to drill in Alaska 12 years ago...we would be getting that oil now.

HOW 'LIBERAL' CARE WOULD KILL TED

IRONICALLY enough, the dangers of the lib eral health-care agenda are being made clear by the care that a liberal icon, Sen. Ted Kennedy, has received since his brain seizure last month.
One day after an MRI detected a tumor, Kennedy was quickly diagnosed with a malignant glioma - a rare and often-fatal form of brain cancer. Less than two weeks later, his tumor was being removed by one of the world's experts in brain cancer at Duke Univeristy Medical Center. He'll follow up with chemo and radiation therapy tailored to the genetic makeup of his cancer to keep the cancer from spreading.
He'll likely take Avastin, a drug that in experiments with brain cancer has extended survival by months. A new cancer vaccine being developed in partnership with Pfizer could extend his life by six years.
Of course, with his wealth and power, Kennedy would get good treatment anywhere. But the same care is available to every American.
Not so - if we make the health "reforms" called for by Kennedy and other liberals.
Filmmaker Michael Moore gives their standard line when he says: "There are problems in all health-care systems, but at least Europeans and Canadians have a health-care system that covers everyone."
Problem is, governments that promise to "cover everyone" always wind up cutting corners simply to save money. People with Kennedy's condition are dying or dead as a result.
Consider Jennifer Bell of Norwich, England. In 2006, the 22-year-old complained of headaches for months - but Britain's National Health Service made her wait a year to see a neurologist.
Then she had to wait more than three months before should could get what the NHS decided was only a "relatively urgent" MRI scan. Three days before the MRI appointment, she died.
Consider, too, the chemo drug Kennedy is receiving: Temodar, the first oral medicine for brain tumors in 25 years.
Temodar has been widely used in this country since the FDA approved it in 2000. But a British health-care rationing agency, the National Institute for Comparative Effectiveness, ruled that, while the drug helps people live longer, it wasn't worth the money - and denied coverage for it.
Barack Obama - and other Democrats - have been pushing a Senate bill to set up a similar US "review board" for Medicare and any future government health-care plan.
After denying this treatment completely for seven years, the NICE (did whoever named it intend the irony?) relented - partly. Even today, only a handful of Brits with brain tumors can get Temodar.
And if you want to pay for Temodar out of your own pocket, the British system forces you to pay for all of your cancer care - about $30,000 a month.
Things are no different in Canada, where the wait for an MRI (once you finally get a referral) has grown to 10 weeks. For Canadians relying on their government health care, the average wait time from diagnosis of cancer to surgery is beyond the guideline set by both the US and European societies for surgical oncology.
And HealthCanada, the government system, similar refuses to pay for treatments that are often covered in America.
Chad Curley, a 37-year-old auto worker from Windsor, Ontario, had a brain tumor like Kennedy's but can't have surgery because his is too large to be operable.
His tumor didn't respond to Temodar and the same doctors now treating Sen. Kennedy told him and his wife that the Avastin combination could stop his tumor from growing and add months to his life. But HealthCanada wouldn't pay to use Avastin to treat his tumor.
Chad's family and friends scraped together the $5,000 for the first round of treatment in mid-November; they later saw Chad's left-side paralysis start to subside. But the money ran out - and he died on Feb. 21.
In pushing for government-run health care, liberals are pushing for a system where only the Ted Kennedys of the world can get cutting-edge - and life-saving - care.

Rushing flood waters drain Lake Delton

This story is amazing to me...
An entire lake is gone...
And if you are not from around this area, Lake Delton is the centerpiece of a 1 billion dollar a year tourism industry in the Wisconsin Dells....
The story says there will not be a lake at all this summer...
A lake...gone...I can't comprehend this...

BP chief Tony Hayward says lack of investment to blame for oil spike

I'm glad to see the oil companies fight back against the easy solution of high gas prices.
What is the "easy solution" for the liberals, just blame the oil companies.
They make 9% profit no matter how much gas is, so that is not the problem.
Two problems that cause a rise in gas prices:
1. 35 years of liberals not allowing us to drill and refine our own oil. Throw in the fact we can't build a nuclear power plant as well as to the entire energy price problem.
2. China, India and Africa using up more and more and more and more oil.

Just remember, 12 years ago congress passed a bill to drill in ANWAR, Clinton vetoed it saying it would take 10 years to get the oil.
Man...we really could use that oil now...
Thanks liberals for our $4 a gallon gas
Thank your nearest liberal today

Many homes, and streets, and parks invaded today

That is a pic of a "stream" that is usually 2-3 feet wide...now about 300 yards

I honestly can't remember this big a storm bringing this much rain for so long.

We are on storm two of the day right now.

We got 4 inches of rain in 2-3 hours.

The storm went from southern Racine county to Port Washington...

And from Milwaukee to Jefferson County.

The whole storm was red and white on the radar, and I don't think it was because it was patriotic...

I'll try and post a few pics of a park by my house that is mostly under water...

This is not a small park...this park is over a half a mile long and atleast 6 city blocks wide...

Home invaded in Oak Creek

What would stop someone like this from continuing to be an a-hole...
Jail
I bet this guy has been caught before and is still out
Is no one sick and tired of these people?

Convention chief wants to meet with police

Enough with the meetings, enough with the BS
Take some of the tax money you waste on failed liberal social programs and build more prisons.
Just about every single person that is in the paper or on the news for committing these a-hole crimes has a record already.
This means that if we gave the maximums and maybe increased the maximums these people could just sit in jail and not bother anyone else....period.
Many people are sick and tired of about 10% of city residents ruining it for everyone.
The kids who beat up others on the bus or bus drivers...in jail...end of story...end of high crime rates.

$45 trillion needed to combat warming

I agree we need many, many more nuclear power plants, but otherwise this is crap.
What happens if we cut carbon emissions by half?
Who is going to cut by half?
Not Central America, not India, not Africa and not China...I can guarantee you that...
So, with our new President, we will be forces to destroy our economy, lose jobs and lower the quality of life for everyone so a few countries can fight the cartoon villain "global warming."
Even if you believe man has caused it and can control it, you can not stop it unless all countries comply.

US Marine acquitted of all charges in Haditha killings

But wait...
John Murtha went on national TV and told the world that our soldiers were murderers...
I know someone who cares about his country and "loves" the military would not hold a press conference to wrongly accuse soldiers. He would never try to make the military look bad just for political gain.
I wonder why he was so eager to hold that press conference. Someone who has an interest in making our country stronger and meeting our objectives in the world would not run to the microphone and spew lies.

So I guess Murtha lied:
MATTHEWS: Mr. Murtha, let me ask you about this accusation that you have come out with today, that U.S. service people fighting in Iraq killed civilians in cold blood. What evidence do you have on that now?
MURTHA: Well, "Time Magazine" ...
MATTHEWS: Was this melee? I mean, was this a case of -- when you say cold blood, Congressman, a lot of people think you're basically saying you have got some civilians sitting in a room or out in a field and they're executed just on purpose...
MURTHA: That's exactly what happened.

He lied here too...man..for someone who loves his country...he sure wasn't sad about this "murder" by our troops. He seemed like he wanted to go out there and shout it from the rooftops

BLITZER: There's an investigation of what happened at Haditha. ...you've suggested this week that there in effect was a massacre. …
MURTHA: Well there was. There's no question about it...
BLITZER: The Marines say they're still investigating. They don't know what happened yet. The pentagon says the same thing. How do you know what happened?
MURTHA: Wolf, you read the "Time" magazine articles. There are pictures, there are photos. You don't have to talk to the military about the proof.

More glee:

REP. JOHN MURTHA: … on November 19th, we had an incident in Haditha in Anbar province, where a Marine was killed with an IED. Time magazine reported it, and it's kind of a puzzling report, because they're investigating it right now. Let me tell you what the consequences of this have been.
It's much worse than reported in Time magazine. There was no fire fight. There was no IED that killed these innocent people. Our troops overreacted because of the pressure on them and they killed innocent civilians in cold blood. And that's what the report is going to tell…

And why would someone go on TV, lie about the Military when he was never even briefed from any military source? Maybe any bad news about the military is good news to a Democrat?

Murtha, a Pennsylvania Democrat, is being sued by one of the accused Marines for libel. He had told The Philadelphia Inquirer that Gen. Michael Hagee had given him the information on which he based his charge that Marines killed innocent civilians.
But a spokesman for the Marine Corps said Hagee briefed Murtha on May 24 about Haditha. Murtha had made comments on the case as early as May 17.
On May 17, for example, he said at a news conference, "Our troops overracted because of the pressure on them and they killed innocent civilians in cold blood."

Where is Murtha saying he is sorry?
Where is his punishment?

At least Time run some lame "corrections"

In the original version of this story, TIME reported that "a day after the incident, a Haditha journalism student videotaped the scene at the local morgue and at the homes where the killings had occurred. The video was obtained by the Hammurabi Human Rights Group, which cooperates with the internationally respected Human Rights Watch, and has been shared with TIME"
In fact, Human Rights Watch has not ties or association with the Hammurabi Human Rights Group. TIME regrets the error. http://time-proxy.yaga.com/time/archive/preview/0,10987,1174682,00.html

In the original version of this story, TIME reported the "one of the most damning pieces of evidence investigators have in their possession, John Sifton of Human Rights Watch told Time's Tim McGirk, is a photo, taken by a Marine with his cell phone that shows Iraqis kneeling -- and thus posing no threat -- before they were shot." While Sifton did tell TIME that there was photographic evidence, taken by Marines, he had only heard about the specific content of the photos from reports done by NBC, and had no firsthand knowledge. TIME regrets the error. http://www.time.com/time/world/article/0,8599,1198843,00.html

Video released of group beating on bus

Is it just me, or does this look like a video of a bunch of black kids beating up a white kid on the bus.
I'm not sure if this is a white kid or just a "light skinned" black kid.
Whatever the color, if you read the story these kids do not belong on the streets and should be put in jail for a long, long, long, long, long, long, long.....long time.

Jury Finds Tony Rezko Guilty On 16 Of 24 Charges

Let's see how this plays out in the media who is still masturbating over Obama...
I bet they will not have time to notice that Obama is good friends with a convicted felon who pumped millions into Dem politics...
Liberal media, continue your fine work

The Obama We Don't Know

This is so perfect, I think I'll repost it once a week until November

With Barack Obama clinching the Democratic Party nomination, it is worth noting what an extraordinary moment this is. Democrats are nominating a freshman Senator barely three years out of the Illinois legislature whom most of America still hardly knows. The polls say he is the odds-on favorite to become our next President.

Think about this in historical context. Jimmy Carter and Bill Clinton were relatively unknown, but both had at least been prominent Governors. John Kerry, Walter Mondale, Al Gore and even George McGovern were all long-time Washington figures. Republican nominees tend to be even more familiar, for better or worse. In Mr. Obama, Democrats are taking a leap of faith that is daring even by their risky standards.

No doubt this is part of his enormous appeal. Amid public anger over politics as usual, the Illinois Senator is unhaunted by Beltway experience. His personal story – of mixed race, and up from nowhere through Harvard – resonates in an America where the two most popular cultural icons are Tiger Woods and Oprah. His political gifts are formidable, especially his ability to connect with audiences from the platform.
Above all, Mr. Obama has fashioned a message that fits the political moment and the public's desire for "change." At his best, he offers Americans tired of war and political rancor the promise of fresh national unity and purpose. Young people in particular are taken by it. But more than a few Republicans are also drawn to this "postpartisan" vision.
Mr. Obama has also shown great skill in running his campaign. No one – including us – gave him much chance of defeating the Clinton machine. No doubt he benefited from the desire of even many Democrats to impeach the polarizing Clinton era. But he also beat Hillary and Bill at their own game. He raised more money, and he outworked them in the small-state caucuses that provided him with his narrow delegate margin. Even now, he is far better organized in swing states than is John McCain's campaign. All of this speaks well of his preparation for November, and perhaps for his potential to govern.
Yet govern how and to what end? This is the Obama Americans don't know. For all of his inspiring rhetoric about bipartisanship, his voting record is among the most partisan in the Senate. His policy agenda is conventionally liberal across the board – more so than Hillary Clinton's, and more so than that of any Democratic nominee since 1968.
We can't find a single issue on which Mr. Obama has broken with his party's left-wing interest groups.
Early on he gave a bow to merit pay for teachers, but that quickly sank beneath the waves of new money he wants to spend on the same broken public schools. He takes the Teamsters line against free trade, to the point of unilaterally rewriting Nafta. He wants to raise taxes even above the levels of the Clinton era, including a huge increase in the payroll tax. Perhaps now Mr. Obama will tack to the center, but somehow he will have to explain why the "change" he's proposing isn't merely more of the same, circa 1965.
There is also the matter of judgment, and the roots of his political character. We were among those inclined at first to downplay his association with the Trinity United Church. But Mr. Obama's handling of the episode has raised doubts about his candor and convictions. He has by stages moved from denying that his 20-year attendance was an issue at all; to denying he'd heard Rev. Jeremiah Wright's incendiary remarks; to criticizing certain of those remarks while praising Rev. Wright himself; to repudiating the words and the reverend; and finally this weekend to leaving the church.
Most disingenuously, he said on Saturday that the entire issue caught him by surprise. Yet he was aware enough of the political risk that he kept Rev. Wright off the stage during his announcement speech more than a year ago.
A 2004 Chicago Sun-Times interview with Mr. Obama mentioned three men as his religious guides. One was Rev. Wright. Another was Father Michael Pfleger, the Louis Farrakhan ally whose recent remarks caused Mr. Obama to resign from Trinity, but for whose Chicago church Mr. Obama channeled at least $225,000 in grants as a state senator. Until recently, the priest was connected to the campaign, which flew him to Iowa to host an interfaith forum. Father Pfleger's testimony for the candidate has since been scrubbed from Mr. Obama's campaign Web site. A third mentor was Illinois state Senator James Meeks, another Chicago pastor who has generated controversy for mixing pulpit and politics.
The point is not that Mr. Obama now shares the radical views of these men. The concern is that by the Senator's own admission they have been major moral influences, and their views are starkly at odds with the candidate's vision as a transracial peacemaker. Their patronage was also useful as Mr. Obama was making his way in Chicago politics. But only now, in the glare of a national campaign, is he distancing himself from them. The question is what in fact Mr. Obama does believe.
The young Senator has been a supernova exploding into our politics, more phenomenon than conventional candidate. His achievement in winning the Democratic nomination has been impressive. Now comes a harder audience. The presidency has to be earned, and Americans have a right to know much more about the gifted man who is the least tested and experienced major party nominee in modern times.

Union County approves zoning ordinance for Hyperion

Hey Janesville, Milwaukee...you want billions of dollars in your economy...hundreds or thousands of jobs???

US teens having less sex, drugs

Well done

Obama starts his sprint to the Right

Everyone knows that if you are a liberal you have to run hard to the right to get elected in a general election.
If you are seen as a far left wing hippie, you will never win...even with all the white guilt.

So McCain (who is the actual moderate who actually does work with both sides, unlike Obama) says this today:

This morning, McCain's HQ sent out research pointing out Obama's opposition to a resolution that would have designated Iran's Revolutionary Guard Corps as a terrorist organization.

"Barack Obama opposed this legislation, deciding that playing partisan primary politics was more important than our nation's security," said spokesman Tucker Bounds. "Even Senators Hillary Clinton and Dick Durbin had the judgment to call our enemies by their name, especially a group responsible for the killing of American troops in Iraq. If Barack Obama does not have the judgment and experience to even identify our enemies, how can we expect him to stand up to them?"

It is a perfect statement...
Then today Obama started sprinting to the Right. He has to now pretend he is something he is not, because if/once the America people see how he is voted and the crazy liberal things he says...he will lose big time:

Democratic presumptive presidential nominee Barack Obama vowed Wednesday he would work to "eliminate" the threat posed by Iran to security in the Middle East and around the globe.
"There's no greater threat to Israel or to the peace and stability of the region than Iran," he told the powerful pro-Israel lobby, the American Israel Public Affairs Council (AIPAC).

Will Hillary supporters go to Obama?

Here is just the first few comments on a McCain facebook board:

I was Clinton, but Im ready to support you! McCain 08! NOBAMA!
I guess McCain will be our next President!I was for Clinton....NOBAMA!!!
I was going for Hillary but now that she isn't in the race anymore.. ANYONE BUT OBAMA!
i am a HARD CORE liberal and i cant believe that i am endorsing mccain
I hate Obama

that was in 30 minutes...we shall see

Their 3 R's include running

At least one school has it right.
Study after study show that a healthy body creates a healthier mind.
Kids who exercise and have PE early in school are able stay focused and learn how to read faster because they have better tracking skills.
It would be nice to see others follow, but the trend is to cut, cut, cut everything that is not the basics....and it hurts our kids.

Clinton says she's open to being Obama's VP

What do you think about this?

Is it good or bad for liberals?

Clinton voted for the war

But she is a woman...because the color of your skin or your gender matters a great deal to some liberals.

Most people do not like her...

But she is a woman

She can make sure Dems win New York...

They always win New York

Bill gets to rent out rooms in the White House for campaign cash again...

A new, fresh, young batch of interns

AP tally: Obama effectively clinches nomination

So, are you going to vote for Obama?
Here is what you get:
1. To say you voted for a black guy, effectively suppressing your white guilt for 10 minutes
2. Much, much higher taxes
3. More handouts
4. More entitlements
5. allow global warming morons to completely ruin our economy
6. Therefore you are taking away jobs from everyone
7. taking away our lives because you will be pulling out of Iraq killing hundreds of thousands if not millions in the middle east...then after they set up shop there, terrorists will plan sometime much worse than 9-11
8. someone in office who is surrounded by people who think America is a bully and racist...so we will have to "change" that.
9. someone who will be taken to the cleaners by every other leader in this world

HILLARY'S ONE CHANCE AT REDEMPTION

Actually, that would be a very good move.
If Hillary came to Obama's speech tonight and threw her support at him, Obama would be up on McCain by 15 to 20 points by Thursday.
No matter how many moron liberals want to come on here and say I listen to Sean or Rush and just repeat what they say, I understand that unless we keep getting completely stupid move after completely stupid comment every week until November Obama is going to win.
It will be worse for America than when Carter won, much worse, but I guess that is what most likely will happen.
There is always the hope that Dems will screw this up and let the more moderate liberal win.

Taxpayers May Face Hurricane Tab

Keep voting for Dems, they are about to put a HUGE burden on us taxpayers.
Who does this benefit?
The small amount of Americans who decide to live where there are hurricanes...
So lets make sure the entire country foots the bill for risky behavior again.
Democrats want to put taxes on potato chips and McDonalds because it is bad for you,
but they are willing to subsidize and encourage people to live where their house can be destroyed.
Then they will complain that we have a deficit.

Pelosi shows how much she loves America

I wonder how tough it is for Pelosi to look herself in the mirror.
Even as every single report given, as every single general and commander and military expert is saying the vastly improved conditions in Iraq are due to GWB's surge...here you have Pelosi trying to get everyone to think our military has failed, and that any success we have is because of Iran...

"Whatever the military success and progress that may have been made, the surge didn't accomplish its goal. And some of the success of the surge is that the goodwill of the Iranians -- they decided in Basra when the fighting would end, they negotiated that cessation of hostilities -- the Iranians."

She is clearly anti-American, and so is her party since it is their stance to bash the war and the troops no matter how well they are doing.
At least they get power out of bashing American...what do the rest of you liberals get out of it?

Students learn in lock step

THIS IS GREAT!!!!

I have been saying this for years.
Most administrators and teachers in regular inner city public schools teach kids that they will get 100 chances, they can do whatever they want and will not get appropriate consequences.

What I especially like about this story is the point that they schools have to run independent, because MPS will not allow the tough discipline needed to get these kids to unlearn all the crap they have learned at home and at school for so many years.

The only thing that would make it better is if these kids could live there...then they couldn't go home and be reminded the wrong way to act, and they would not be allowed to skip school.
