America's Lost 3,000

The death toll for U.S. soldiers in Iraq has reached 3,000, a number that's both unbearable and, compared to previous military operations, a pittance

So what does this mean?

To some, it is a number that can be exploited for political gain...and will be...

But really, when is the number too much?

Anyone who can read a history book must know that the number of American troop deaths is far lower now than in past conflicts. But many liberals will say that too many have died and we need to send the troops home.

Okay, so, when did the number get too high?

At 100....10,000?

Is it 3,000 that makes it too much?

Should we have never fought WWII? We lost too many then as well?

Should we get rid of the military so that no soldiers ever die again?

Focusing on this number seems completely wrong to me. The focus should be on obtaining our goals.

When people say we are losing or lost the war on terror...how can that be?

We went into a country, displaced their government and put in a new government...that seems like a 100% fantastic win to me...

The debate can be about what we do now...but if it is up to some, there will be no debate.

If you are for our country using the military, you are a war monger, you are evil in insensitive, you want to kill our young troops for oil or whatever made up crap liberals are saying the war is for this week...

What are your plans for New Years?

Post here...

We just had a bunch of people over in the afternoon to hang out...
Then going to dinner...
Then having some people over to watch the Packer game...
I have a pregnant wife I going to a party is out...and I guess I just feel like growing up this year and not driving around with millions of drunk people at midnight...

Reporting on Saddam's death

HT: MM
The liberals at CNN don't see Saddam as an evil dictator, because many liberals now believe that Iraq was better with Saddam and it is the US that is evil.

Bryan Preston sums up the tyrant's bloody resume. Mark Coffey draws on Thomas Jefferson.
Lots of readers are peeved by CNN's memorial tribute to Saddam. Reader Roger writes, "Did Gerald Ford get this much respect on CNN's home page?"

Reader Jake e-mails: "A very telling CNN screenshot on your post about Saddam's death...I noticed the page of "Family Photos" and had to browse them earlier...family snapshots of Saddam's. Where are the pictures of the tens of thousands (or hundreds of thousands) of Saddam's victims and their families?!? [Update] As of 11:20pm EST, the "Family Photos" post is now removed from the page."
The New York Times, to its credit, does better:

Dennis Miller end of the year rant

A few thoughts to end the year for Dennis Miller:

You know, I'm pretty sure the phrase life is too short doesn't exist in Islam.
Castro, Castro is one true genius at keeping Cuba so far down that a Category Four hurricane can hit the island head on and they still suffer almost no property damage.
You know, the interesting thing about diversity training is that 99.9 percent of the people who are ordered to take it are white.
They say that Wal-Mart will be the death of small town America. If small town America is so great, why is every third person in Hooterville hooked on meth?
To all the eco-nuts out there, I can't worry about the earth right now. I'm too worried about the world.
Hillary Clinton can afford to decry rich people at every turn. She's been on the public's dime since the dawn of man. She's had all the trappings of wealth without all the messy earnings that it takes.
You know, the Saudis are just the grown up equivalent of your childhood imaginary friend.
I'm toying with the idea of turning all of my money over to the state of California, because theoretically, I'd have more access to it as petitioner than I do as the actual proprietor.
Once again, let me proclaim that my main reason for being pro-choice is that I am not a fetus that's about to be aborted.
And lastly, just as the Titanic ramming the iceberg led to the obvious practice of having enough life boats for all the passengers, fighting a politically correct war in Iraq will remind us that you only, only fight wars to win.

Saddam Hussein 'executed in Iraq'

Since we are all Americans and want the best for our country...
Hopefully this takes away the fear out of some people in Iraq who believed Saddam would come back to power some day.

We will see if people try to use this as a political tool like they do everything else (Katrina for example).

Jon Carry ets wiff da stooped troups in Irak

“This is a true story…..Check out this photo from our mess hall at the US Embassy yesterday morning. Sen. Kerry found himself all alone while he was over here. He cancelled his press conference because no one came, he worked out alone in the gym w/o any soldiers even going up to say hi or ask for an autograph (I was one of those who was in the gym at the same time), and he found himself eating breakfast with only a couple of folks who are obviously not troops.
What is amazing is Bill O’Reilly came to visit with us and the troops at the CSH the same day and the line for autographs extended through the palace and people waited for two hours to shake his hand. You decide who is more respected and loved by us servicemen and women!”

Roosevelt on immigration

It just amazes me how wrong liberals are ALL THE TIME.
They don't get it at all...people used to get it

Theodore Roosevelt's ideas on Immigrants and being an AMERICAN in 1907.

"In the first place, we should insist that if the immigrant who comes here in good faith becomes an American and assimilates himself to us, he shall be treated on an exact equality with everyone else, for it is an outrage to discriminate against any such man because of creed, or birthplace, or origin. But this is predicated upon the person's becoming in every facet an American, and nothing but an American...There can be no divided allegiance here. Any man who says he is an American, but something else also, isn't an American at all. We have room for but one flag, the American flag... We have room for but one language here, and that is the English language... and we have room for but one sole loyalty and that is a loyalty to the American people."

Damn, did it again.

John Edwards Kicks Off His Campaign Tour?

Edwards is scheduled to travel to New Orleans to make the announcement. He will appear in the Katrina ravaged ninth ward where recovery efforts continue more than a year later.

This is flat out bull. What is the purpose of this?
Use a tragedy for political gain?
Dems do this as a common practice, so I can see why they would not mind...
Is he going there to show how ineffective and incompetent the DEMOCRAT mayor and DEMOCRAT governor are?
That would be some honestly for once.

Medi-Cal pays for over 100,000 births by undocumented women

More than 100,000 undocumented women each year bear children in California with expenses paid by Medi-Cal, according to state reports.
Such births and related expenses account for more than $400 million of the nearly $1 billion that the program spends annually on health care for illegal immigrants in California, the Los Angeles Times reported, citing state reports.

Just making sure you understand what is going to happen to the entire country if we don't get this under control. I don't think we ever will, and eventually our health care system, education system, and social welfare system will completely collapse...
How long will that take...who knows?

Al Qaeda Sends a Message to Democrats

This is how they think.
They see America as weak, and the American people as weak.
They believe they will win, because they read and listen to all the trash talk done by Dem's.
The terrorist hope Dem's win more in 2008, so that they can win their war on the West...
Its all in this letter...the American people are helping terrorist win the war by giving up on the troops and voting for people who's words give terrorist hope.

But, Dem's will keep bad mouthing the USA and our mission, and give more hope in the future...its so simple to see how the terrorists are using you as useful idiots as other enemies of this country have in the past.

"The first is that you aren't the ones who won the midterm elections, nor are the Republicans the ones who lost. Rather, the Mujahideen -- the Muslim Ummah's vanguard in Afghanistan and Iraq -- are the ones who won, and the American forces and their Crusader allies are the ones who lost," Zawahri said, according to a full transcript obtained by ABC News.

Zawahri calls on the Democrats to negotiate with him and Osama bin Laden, not others in the Islamic world who Zawahri says cannot help.
"And if you don't refrain from the foolish American policy of backing Israel, occupying the lands of Islam and stealing the treasures of the Muslims, then await the same fate," he said.

Hidden message to Iran's Pres

Lets see if any of you find the hidden messge. Liberals will just agree with the statement and think it is great....However, there is a hidden message for smarter people to find.

'Soldier's Dream' needs repair after vandals hit

This story confuses me. Why would conservatives do this to his truck?
I mean, liberals are tolerant and peaceful people, so they couldn't have done this.

Iran Refuses to Cease Uranium Enrichment

If we would have been nicer, Iran would have agreed to not make nuclear weapons.
They would have promised, and they would have followed through with their word.
Now, because of GWB and evil Republicans, the whole world hates us. Hopefully we get Clinton or Obama in the White House so we can go back to having the world love us and not plan any attacks on our soil...well, there was that 9-11 thing, but thats it...

This message was brought to you buy liberal thought...see how stupid it sounds.

Ex-candidate to surrender law licenses

Waukesha - Donovan Riley, a disgraced state Senate candidate, is paying a steep price for voting twice in the same election in 2000.

Riley, Democrat, agreed on Thursday to pay a $10,000 fine, surrender his law licenses in Wisconsin and Illinois and not practice law. He must also return campaign contributions to supporters who request refunds in the next 30 days even if it means paying them from his personal funds.

I make that work bigger:
1. because Dem's love voter fraud and don't care when it is done.
2. Because it was not mentioned ONCE in the paper version of the JS that he was a Democrat. It was added later online. This is how voter fraud works. The guy who wrote this story is a liberal, so he either left it out on purpose, or didn't have the ingrained bias for Dems that he has for Republicans. It is also possible it was the editor who is the biased liberal. You know damn well that if this was a Republican who committed felony voter fraud, it would be in the title that he was conservative.

Also, why do we not care about voter fraud? Kids slash GOP vans the night before election day, they get nothing. We catch a guy read handed voting twice, nothing. Conservatives should be very upset by all this, since we lose close elections this way....

Hispanic groups call for moratorium on work raids

They accused the Department of Immigration and Customs Enforcement of "racial profiling," or selective enforcement against Hispanics, for arresting 1,300 workers on immigration violations in December 12 raids at meatpacking plants in six states.

"This unfortunately reminds me of when Hitler began rounding up the Jews for no reason and locking them up," Democratic Party activist Carla Vela said. "Now they're coming for the Latinos, who will they come for next?"

Everyone reading this should be STEAMING MAD. The government tries to do its job for once, and the race card comes flying out. Once again, Democrats are sticking up for people who break the law.

Its time for AMERICANS to stop being scared of the race card and get rid of people who break the law. It is not our fault they are mostly Hispanic. The fact that a certain group commits most of a certain crime means we can't arrest them?

That is what these race baiters are saying.

And comparing this to the Jews in Germany shows how these Dems know absolutely NOTHING.

Rape Charges Dropped in Duke Case

I am not usually for lawsuits, but here is a good time for one.
A Democratic DA, used the race card to get elected.
In the process, he dismantled a Division I sports team and ruined the reputation of three athletes.
Did the kids make bad decision and do things that were not smart?
Yes...
Should they be brought up on rape charges because a prostitute wants to get paid and a DA wants all the black votes in a minority county by stringing up three white guys?
No.

The DA should be sued for all he has, and anyone else they can get money from.
City hall should be these guys new frat house.
In addition, lets start holding accountable all the morons who voted for this guy who was obviously using race to get elected.
Anyone who voted for this guy should have to pay these kids too....

So, illegal immigrants do the jobs Americans won't do???

I think it is crazy to think that illegals do jobs Americans will not do.
It might be true that Americans do not want to do the jobs for as low a wage, but this story proves that Americans want to work and will work.

Santa Hat-Wearing Bus Driver Allowed to Keep Job

A Santa hat-wearing school bus driver on Long Island, N.Y., has won the right to keep wearing his festive headgear, Newsday reported.Kenneth Mott, who keeps a long, white beard, almost lost his job after a parent called the bus management to complain. Mott, who has worn the red and white hat every Christmas since he started with the Bauman & Sons bus company five years ago, was ordered to stop wearing the hat because a child didn't believe in Santa Claus and was bothered by the hat."

I said, 'What, are you kidding me?'" Mott recalled. "I thought it was a big joke," Newsday reported. However, after Mott told other parents he might be fired for wearing the hat, supervisors changed their stance and said he could continue to wear the hat.

This story reminds us of so many things.
1st...Our society babies kids. So what if one kid doesn't believe in Santa and is bothered by it. What happens when that kid has a REAL problem in life.

2nd...Why does ONE parent get to decide what happens in the lives of hundreds of kids? It's nice to see the silent majority win one every once and awhile.

3rd...American traditions and nice extras in life are under constant attack. We can't do or say anything anymore, because ONE person might get mad...so instead we make everything as boring and non-offensive as possible. Our parents talk about a better time, one reason it was better is because we didn't have so many cry babies and so many people with "hurt feelings" ruining nice things for everyone else.

UW admissions talks draw crowd

Affirmative action programs are nothing but racist.
You want to talk about failed liberal ideas that create a permanent underclass...here is one of those programs.
It tells blacks and other minorities that they need help to get ahead in the world, they can't do it on their own with hard work.
The world is not fair, it is racist and it takes the government to help them.
It is this mentality that keeps things the way they are. No one will ever get a better life waiting for the government to help them.
Liberals can not understand how their programs, which are kind and compassionate, could ever hurt anyone.
Just like in most areas of life, liberal thought, ideas and programs are well intentioned, but actually hurt much more than they help.

Get rid of affirmative action and start promoting leaders who send the message that hard work and personal responsibility are the way to succeed.

VINCENT 73, KAMEHAMEHA 45

Milwaukee Vincent, the top High School boys basketball team in the state of Wisconsin, beat up on a usually great Hawaii team.

Glad to see that Vincent is representing Wisconsin well. When I lived there, Vincent played here but was not as good, and was embarrassed...

Pro Bowl Selections made

Comment on if you agree with the selections, or anything else about the NFL...

Bush to Expand Size of Military

I read this and my first though it...."It's about time"
We should be doing what it takes to meet our objectives...which was to get rid of Saddam and then get a stable government in place.

But then, another part of me says..."Too little, too late"

Bush let the pressure from liberals, whose ideas only bring about failure and lose, get to him, and let it affect his strategy.

So really, you have to blame Bush. He didn't have to try to make everyone happy. If we went in there and really kicked ass...liberals would have bitched, and we would have won....

We really don't learn from history....
Since the start of the modern, peace loving hippie liberal, all the USA can do is lose.

Your going to listen to me complain

I am a teacher...Most of the time I love it, but more and more, with the children of the Milwaukee inner city showing a complete lack of any concern for learning, respect, responsibility, or just being a decent human being, I find myself more and more tired.

Today I had to get yelled at because kids in my class decided to leave my area to the place THEY wanted to go. In a normal world, this would not even happen. If it did, the students would be punished. But in this world, going after the students is worthless, because no matter what they do, they will not be punished.
Shortly after that, I put my gradebook down to get a drink of water, and someone stole it. It isn't the end of the world for my grades, but the fact that someone would steal it, showing a complete lack of regard for right and wrong, got me mad.
Then we had a basketball game at the end of the day, and the amount of disrespect and fighting that the students showed put me over the edge. These are people you try to help every day, staying up late doing lesson plans, grading papers, buying stuff for your room, and they swear at you, they have been taught by their completely wrong liberal upbringing that they are entitled to whatever they want, whenever they want. No one has the right to tell them what to do at any time, for any reason. It's bullshit.

Then I go to Jay's blog and read this, reminding me how little I am appreciated.

As a work force, teachers are highly educated compared with the general public.

Twenty-four percent of Wisconsin’s working population holds a bachelor’s degree or more compared with nearly 100% of teachers.

Only 8% of the state’s work force holds a graduate degree, compared with 57% of teachers (U.S. Census Bureau 2003, “Status of the Wisconsin Public School Teacher 2004”).

Census Bureau data which measure earnings by educational attainment show that teachers are underpaid compared with private sector workers who have similar levels of education:

The average full-time worker nationally with a bachelor’s degree over age 25 earned $60,664 in 2004—that’s $17,782 more than Wisconsin teachers, who earned an average of $42,882 (U.S. Census Bureau, “Earnings by Educational Attainment,” NEA “Rankings and Estimates”).

The average full-time worker nationally with a master’s degree earned $73,024 in 2004—that’s $30,142 more than Wisconsin teachers earned who have a master’s degree and 10 year’s experience (U.S. Census Bureau, “Earnings by Educational Attainment,” WEAC salary data).

Education Week magazine found that Wisconsin teachers earned $10,000 less than other workers in the state with college degrees (“Quality Counts 2000”).

Wisconsin teachers with a master’s degree earned $17,250 less than other Wisconsin workers with the same degree (“Quality Counts 2000”).

There's more at the link. Let's compare apples to apples, shall we? A highly-qualified, well-educated Wisconsin teacher does not easily compare to your average worker. (First person who says "but you get summers off" gets smacked; I haven't had a summer off since I was 16.) There's also this:

Several types of analyses show that teachers earn significantly less than comparable workers, and this wage disadvantage has grown considerably over the last 10 years.

An analysis of weekly wage trends shows that teachers' wages have fallen behind those of other workers since 1996, with teachers' inflation-adjusted weekly wages rising just 0.8%, far less than the 12% weekly wage growth of other college graduates and of all workers. [. . .]

A comparison of teachers' wages to those of workers with comparable skill requirements, including accountants, reporters, registered nurses, computer programmers, clergy, personnel officers, and vocational counselors and inspectors, shows that teachers earned $116 less per week in 2002, a wage disadvantage of 12.2%. Because teachers worked more hours per week, the hourly wage disadvantage was an even larger 14.1%.

Teachers' weekly wages have grown far more slowly than those for these comparable occupations; teacher wages have deteriorated about 14.8% since 1993 and by 12.0% since 1983 relative to comparable occupations.

Although teachers have somewhat better health and pension benefits than do other professionals, these are offset partly by lower payroll taxes paid by employers (since some teachers are not in the Social Security system). Teachers have less premium pay (overtime and shift pay, for example), less paid leave, and fewer wage bonuses than do other professionals. Teacher benefits have not improved relative to other professionals since 1994 (the earliest data we have on benefits), so the growth in the teacher wage disadvantage has not been offset by improved benefits.

The extent to which teachers enjoy greater benefits depends on the particular wage measure employed to study teacher relative pay. Based on a commonly used wage measure that is similar to the W-2 wages reported to the IRS (and used in our analyses), teachers in 2002 received 19.3% of their total compensation in benefits, slightly more than the 17.9% benefit share of compensation of professionals. These better benefits somewhat offset the teacher wage disadvantage but only to a modest extent. For instance, in terms of the roughly 14% hourly wage disadvantage for teachers we found relative to other workers of similar education and experience, an adjustment for benefits would yield a total compensation disadvantage for teachers of 12.5%, 1.5 percentage points less.

Sexual Harassment and You

I just thought I'd put this up so everyone could have some cheer in their day before a new week of work.

A letter on the stupidity of current immigration policy

Dear Senator Sarbanes,
As a native Marylander and excellent customer of the Internal Revenue Service, I am writing to ask for your assistance. I have contacted the Department of Homeland Security in an effort to determine the process for becoming an illegal alien and they referred me to you. My primary reason for wishing to change my status from U.S. Citizen to illegal alien stems from the bill which was recently passed by the Senate and for which you voted.
If my understanding of this bill's provisions is accurate, as an illegal alien who has been in the United States for five years, all I need to do to become a citizen is to pay a $2,000 fine and income taxes for three of the last five years. I know a good deal when I see one and I am anxious to get the process started before everyone figures it out.
Simply put, those of us who have been here legally have had to pay taxes every year so I'm excited about the prospect of avoiding two years of taxes in return for paying a $2,000 fine. Is there any way that I can apply to be illegal retroactively? This would yield an excellent result for me and my family because we paid heavy taxes in 2004 and 2005. Additionally, as an illegal alien I could begin using the local emergency room as my primary health care provider. Once I have stopped paying premiums for medical insurance, my accountant figures I could save almost $10,000 a year.
Another benefit in gaining illegal status would be that my daughter would receive preferential treatment relative to her law school applications, as well as "in-state" tuition rates for many colleges throughout the United States for my son.
Lastly, I understand that illegal status would relieve me of the burden of renewing my driver's license and making those burdensome car insurance premiums.
This is very important to me given that I still have college age children driving my car.
If you would provide me with an outline of the process to become illegal (retroactively if possible) and copies of the necessary forms, I would be most appreciative.
Thank you for your assistance.
Your Loyal Constituent, Pete McGlaughlin, M. D.

Nuggets, Knicks in wild free-for-all; 10 players tossed

Why anyone would spend one second or one dollar on this crap called the NBA is beyond me.
There is flat out no basketball being played in the NBA, and I do not see what is entertaining about watching something where way too many of the participants are scum.
Maybe I get a little more sick of this that the average person because I see this type of behavior displayed almost on a daily basis.
No ability to control yourself...
All that matters is that you look tough and don't let anyone disrespect you...
You would have to look far and wide to find any role model in this league...
And don't even bring up the 1% that are good, because you can then list 100 that have been arrested over and over again...
And the NFL is slowly getting the same way...
Once the people who have and spend the money in this country see NFL players as they do NBA players, you will see the popularity and rating drop.
Did you know that on Sundays golf sometimes, and NASCAR just about always beats up on the NBA in the ratings...
Its because the average person understands what it is...

Time Magazine's Person of the Year: You

... IT'S YOU! YOU were named TIME magazine 'Person of the Year' Saturday for the explosive growth and influence of user-generated Internet content such as 'blogs', video-file sharing site YouTube and social network MySpace... You -- YES, YOU -- beat out candidates including Iran's President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, China's President Hu Jintao, North Korean leader Kim Jong-il and Speaker-elect Nancy Pelosi... YOU, YOU, YOU....

Interesting choice...
Not the correct choice by a long shot.
Its not like people only started blogging this year, this has been a trend for years, and next year, more people will use the internet for information than this year.

Time did this because they are whimps and don't want a bad guy on their cover...

So, who should be "Person of the Year"

My answer:
Either President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad
or
simply "terrorists"
and not as good a choice but not bad...
the entire Bush administration

Florida, California Suspend Executions

So, what do you think of the death penalty?

My answer would be that it does not work in present form, because people do not believe they will be put to death. People spend an average of over 12 years on death row.

Now, if the system was set up so that anyone convicted of a serious crime (states could determine what the definition is), and there was DNA evidence or video evidence proving they did it, they should be put to death in less than one year....

If the public saw that people were being put to death for crimes and people actually remembered the crime that was committed, it would have more of a deterrent effect.

Even if someone does get put to death 13 years later, most people do not remember or care about the crime.

Iran offers to transfer nuke technology

Lets review the liberal strategy:
Let's talk to them and become friends...
Jim and Ron will come here and say that is not the strategy because it seems so stupid and dangerous for the entire world...
But then we have Democratic Senators going to the Middle East to "talk" to terrorist.
Do you understand after they are done talking to you they laugh their asses off at how stupid you are?
Bad guys have been using liberals stupidity against the United States for quite awhile now. Thank God you were not around in current form in WWII.
The USA is slowly deteriorating from liberalism. From immigration policy, to socialist blood sucking social programs, to foreign policy.
And since liberals have no idea how the actual world works, they don't understand anything I am saying...
Lets just hope the little power the correct side has is enough to stop evil in the world.

Baseball spending could be dangerous

Are you looking at these numbers?
You can be a losing pitcher and make close to 10 million dollars a year...are you kidding me!!!
It is why some people don't want to pay for baseball tickets anymore...they are supporting these ridiculous salaries.
If you are any good you are looking at getting almost 20 million. I can't believe it...

What this means is cities like Milwaukee will NEVER compete...Milwaukee can build a new stadium, but now everyone has a new stadium, and more and more money....and Milwaukee just doesn't have enough to get the "good" players.

Even if they could get one, that is not enough...and why would one guy come here when he knows he will be the only big free agent to come here???

How do other small markets do it?

Sen. Kerry 'Willing' to Go to Iran for Talks

Why are Senators going to Iran and Syria?
Did Senators go to Germany and Japan during WWII?
These types of actions by certain types of people whom either have no idea what the correct and proper thing to do is, or that they simply will do anything to get power, are hurting the United States.

With these types of people around...we would never have won WWII.

No screen pass: Packers-Vikings not on TV in some areas

This is a very interesting story.
The NFL is trying to get 75 cents out of everyone who has cable to get the NFL network...that would net them hundreds of millions a year.
Cable does not want to give them that much money, they want to give 25 cents...cable stations like ESPN get 75 cents per view per month...and they have programming all year...NFL network has a few games.

However, because of the NFL's attempt to create their own network and make much more money, they are going to take away America's most popular sport to most of the country.

Is this the right thing to do?
Are they going to upset NFL fans and drive them away?
Are fans going to demand cable gets this network, and win?
Will this lead to PPV sporting events?
Is this capitalism at its best, or worst?
Should the federal government step in and stop this?

Sen. Tim Johnson hospitalized after possible stroke

REPORTS: Sen. Tim Johnson (D, SD) has suffered an 'apparent stroke'... NBC Affiliate WHDH in Boston: 'If he were to die or resign, he could potentially create a tie between Republicans and Democrats in the Senate. That is because South Dakota's governor would be able to appoint a replacement for Johnson and he is likely to be a fellow Republican.' Developing...

Big crowd rallies for The Mic

I have just one question:
If this stations is so successful, and if so many people want to have it on the air, why is it the lowest rated station in Madison?
There are 14 stations that report advertising in Madison, and the liberal talk radio station ranks 14.
In one of the most liberal counties in the United States, it is in last place...

That is why it is going to go away.

Then you get a comment so stupid, so laughable, only a liberal could have come up with it:

But critics charge the conservative Texas-based owners of Clear Channel pulled the plug right after the November elections because they were alarmed by the electoral victories of Democrats.

Clear Channel wants to make money, period. That is it, that is all. When you are the worst rated station in town, you need to go. Ron and Jim like to say that conservatives want us to be scared and worried that terrorist will blow us up, when to them this is not a problem at all.
Well, I KNOW Ron agrees with this completely ridiculous stance that Clear Channel is a political entity that really cares who is on the air...
Well, they do...they want people and programs on the air that people LISTEN TO...

Good bye "progressive" talk radio...

Democrats shopped Foley story to papers

Is this a big deal?

Jr. McGee is racist again

Click on the link to hear more racist spewing from another African American leader....
Remember, this is not racism because he is black...
White people are stupid, another black leader should be hung...
And this guy will probably win a recall election...
Tells you alot about the people who vote for him...

The tale of two school districts

Just read the two stories about two different school districts today in the paper.

You have MPS, where there is a possible riot every 30 seconds

and

New Berlin...where there are major consequences when someone is not nice to someone else...

Amazing the difference...
Maybe if the liberal administrators in MPS started cracking down and actually having consequences for being ridiculous, maybe things would improve...
But when you have a large amount of kids who are not told how to act at home, and can do whatever they want at school...you get what you get.

Democratic Rep. Jefferson wins House runoff election despite federal bribery investigation

There was no doubt in my mind that a guy who was found with $9,000 in his freezer would get re-elected by Democrats.
We have seen time and time again they have no standards when it comes to who they vote for....
And that is why Dem's do not have to quit when they get caught in scandal...their morally bankrupt followers will stick with them

Police called to fight at Bradley Tech

The incident at Bradley Tech, which had 1,575 students as of the third Friday attendance count, is the latest in a string of violent episodes at area high schools. Over the past few months, large-scale fights took place at the North Division high school complex and at Washington High School, and reports of students attacking teachers or administrators have occurred at Ronald Reagan, Madison and Bay View high schools.

What do Tech, North and Washington have in common?
They are all "small schools"
This is the new failure in liberal educational ideas...
Working great, isn't it

Small Nuclear War Would Cause Global Environmental Catastrophe

This article makes up a good point.
We have liberals and environmentalist wachos running around complaining about people driving SUV's and at the same time, want the United States to let a country like Iran develop nuclear weapons...
Which causes more "global warming"....nuclear weapons.....cars....not sure

I know, liberals will say that nobody WANTS Iran to have nuclear weapons...but your actions, the political pressure, the theories about human beings and terrorist...this is what will cause a nuclear war....and then you will really have some "global warming"

2007 Pro Bowl

Don't forget to vote for the people you want to see at the Pro Bowl this year...
And if you are really smart, you already have plane/game tickets, and a hotel room...

US bugged Diana's phone on night of death crash

Why were we doing this?
Liberals should be outraged over this.
They get mad when the government listens to terrorists on the phone...
Listening illegally to royalty should be evey worse.

FACT: Liberals could care less, because it was Bill Clinton who was President and not GWB. Liberals have selective ethics and morality.

Gallagher Ga-Ga For Obama: 'Solid Ideas, A Moderate'

Obama - moderate? If Mike would check Obama's record, as we did here, he'd find that in addition to having received a perfect 100% rating last year from the paleo-liberals at Americans for Democratic Action, a host of other ratings Barack has received screams "cookie-cutter left-wing Democrat":

* Planned Parenthood 100% in 2006.
* National Right to Life Committee 0% in 2005-2006.
* Americans for Tax Reform 0% in 2005.
* NAACP 100% in 2005.
* American Conservative Union 8 percent in 2005.
* Illinois Environmental Council 100% in 2003.
* Children's Defense Fund [Hillary's old beat] 100% in 2005.
* National Organization For Women 100% in 2005.
* NRA, 'F' in 2004.
* Federation for American Immigration Reform 0% in 2005.
* 2005 AFL-CIO 92%.

Once again, this is how media bias makes it an unfair playing field. People listen to this guy who doesn't have a clue, who is in love with Obama because he is a Dem who might be able to win back the White House, and he spews misinformation.
Obama is in no way a "moderate"
But people listen to this story and don't know any better, and that gives Obama the advantage.

Media Ignore Foley E-mail Leaker and Possible Connection to Rahm Emanuel

The House Committee on Standards of Official Conduct released its report concerning the Mark Foley page scandal on Friday, and the media banged the predictable drum about this all being a Republican cover-up. However, what was ignored or downplayed by virtually every press outlet was the revelation that the offensive e-mail messages between Foley and male pages were leaked to the media by the communications director for the House Democratic Caucus. Also absent from such reports was the possibility that high-ranking Democrat Rahm Emanuel of Illinois might have been aware of these electronic transmissions even though he told ABC News on October 8 that he hadn't heard anything about them until the story broke.

Before the election, the Mark Foley page scandal was front page news every single day. It seems now that at least some Democrats knew about this, and based on other report they might have known about it for years. So this report atleast shows that a few Dem's knew about it, and held it until it was politically beneficial.

Wisconsin vs Marquette

Enjoy this one everyone...

Who will win?

More global warming please?

I love when I see this map filled with cold...
Thanks Drudge for putting this up and allowing me to make liberals mad...

School ordered out of voucher program

A small school in its first year in Milwaukee's private school voucher program was ordered out of the program Friday by state officials as a result of an accident in which a school bus hit a firetruck Nov. 29.The bus was carrying students of Elijah's Brook God's Nation Children School, 7429 W. Bradley Road, when it struck the truck, which was backing into a fire station at 8025 W. Bradley Road. The driver of the bus was not licensed and the school has not provided evidence that it had insurance in force, said Tony Evers, deputy state superintendent of public instruction. State regulations require schools in the voucher program to have insurance and allow the state to remove a school from the program on grounds that it is not operating in a safe fashion. "Clearly, it's not a safe place for kids," Evers said. "They demonstrated it on Nov. 29, and we have no reason to believe it is any safer now."The school had 52 students from kindergarten through 12th grade as of the official attendance date in September.

These are the majority of charter schools that are stealing money from the state, the tax payer, and MPS.
Choice and charter schools SOUND like a good idea, and they CAN be, but the majority are not.
There needs to be much more oversight.
There are tens of thousands of kids going to crappy schools like this, learning EVEN LESS than they were in there MPS school, they are not safe, they are not taught by licensed teachers, and apparently not driven be people with a license.

So I guess when Michael McGee gets voted out, he can be a bus driver for a charter school.

Jimmy Carter Fires Back at Longtime Aide Over Book

WASHINGTON — Former President Jimmy Carter faced new criticism Friday over his controversial book on Palestinian lands when a former Middle East diplomat accused him of improperly publishing maps that did not belong to him

Carter is just like any other liberal who tries to defend him. He is flat-out, with out a doubt, the worst President in atleast 100 years. When someone defends him they simply are stripped of the little amount of credibility a liberal could muster. This one isn't even tough. Gas shortage, double digit inflation, hostage crisis.

That fact that ANYONE thinks he is a good President shows the truth in the expression "liberalism is a mental disorder"

HOLIDAY MALL ATTACK THWARTED

A 22-year-old Chicago man has been charged with plotting a terrorist attack on a Rockford, Ill. mall. The suspect is accused of planning to use guns and explosives during the holiday shopping season. The suspect is described as an unaffiliated 'lone wolf-style terrorist'. A press conference is forthcoming... Developing...

I was waiting for this kind of stuff to happen...with all the idiots in the world, you would think this would happen more often...
There are many other things that could be done that would totally disrupt our way of life that would not be very hard to do...I won't list them here...

At least 2 dead in Falk explosion, officials say

Lets pray for everyone and be thankful that was not any of us...

Milwaukee and Murder

As I was driving to work I heard a story on the radio saying that Milwaukee had the highest increase in murder in the nation.
Then the Democrat mayor Tom Barrett had a sound bite saying that their is too much poverty and unemployment.
I am so sick of this way of thinking. Being poor doesn't make you kill someone. Living in a certain area doesn't make you kill someone.
It is liberals blaming society, racism and EVERYONE else but the actual people involved. I teach the community that commits a vast majority of these murders. Maybe if they came to school and learned they could get a job. Maybe if they had a community and family that supported them, then they would be successful.
THAT is the problem.
Why can't we admit the real problem?
Because no one knows how to solve it.
So we try to find money to give people things, that is an easy fix....but it doesn't fix anything.

NYC Health Board Votes to Ban Trans Fats

This seems wrong to me on so many levels...
Are trans fats illegal?
We ban trans fats but not cigarettes?
What a joke.
Where will we draw the line. You want to talk about the government butting into our lives....
Lets see as much outrage over this as the government listening to terrorist on the phone.

Calling out the cell carriers

Which cell phone company do you have?
What is your opinion of the service?

What consumer reports says:
Here are some of the comments from Consumer Reports about large wireless carriers:
Verizon: Consistently a top performer in this years survey and in our earlier ones.
T-Mobile: A solid performer but marred by lack of service in some places.
Cingular: Middling to low levels of consumer satisfaction.
Sprint: One of the poor performers in terms of overall satisfaction.

Congress open to passing bill on immigration

I think this will become a common style of post on this blog for the next two years.
Stuff the Dem's are doing that they forgot to campaign on, or mention at all.

A vast majority of Americans want a wall and do not want easy, blanket amnesty...
So why did you vote for Democrats?
You will now get NO FENCE, and people who broke the law to be here will be here to stay...sucking the life out of health care and education...
Thanks Dem's

Bush Accepts Bolton's U.N. Resignation

What do you think about this...
I am at school right now, but if anybody has links good or bad about Bolton's job performance I would like to see them.
From what I have read, he was doing a good job being a part of an organization that is completely ineffective and irrelevant.
Being tough and maybe yelling at a lazy worker once and awhile is not a reason to be blocked...in my opinion...
And being a conservative is not a reason either

Have a relaxing week.....aloha style

When you get upset about something silly this week....
When someone upsets you...

And if you are really smart....move there.

Packers suck, and my wallet loves it...

I would love it is the Packers were good, but once again, I was able to use my brain and see how bad they would be this year.
Yes, they still could get to 7-9, thanks only to the fact that I don't think there is ONE great team in the NFL this year, NOT ONE. There are lots and lots of bad teams playing eachother...
I'll keep watching it because it is football, but the real excitement is now in HS basketball.

And if the Pack only goes 6-10 or worse, I win lots of money...seemed very obvious before the season.

Are you a hippie?

You are 5% hippie.

Ok, you conservative soul. Do you even believe in global warming? Loosen that necktie a little, and try some organic food. It actually does taste better. And go to a farmer's market--they're fun.

Glenn Beck's History of Illegal Immigration

Is this a "State of Emergency"

What do you think about this quote. Not on if it is true or not, it is, but if this is a good thing or a bad thing...

By 2050 there will be almost 2.5 times as many people here as in 1960: 420 million. The share of the population of European descent will be a minority as it is today in California, Texas and New Mexico. And that minority will be aging, shrinking and dying. There will be as many Hispanics here, 102 million, as there are Mexicans today in Mexico...

Democrats pick evangelical

'Non-partisan' pastor selected for address signed letter blasting Rick Warren critics

Two things to get out of this story:
1. Obviously Dem's are going to try to convince everyone they are not secular progressives, because most people don't think like that. So again, Dem's have a strategy to trick people into thinking they are more conservative than they actually are.

2. The media bias is amazing. This guy gets to be called a "non-partisan"....
That is one of the tricks of the media. Labels. Liberals are almost never liberal, conservatives are always conservative or "far-right wing"...no one is EVER "far-left wing"
So people read this story, and the AP calls this obvious liberal hack "non-partisan"

Democrats to Gut Missile Defense / Bush to Announce "Orbital Battle Station"

Well done America!!!!
I am going to have to pay for your ignorance in November....maybe by being blown up...
Not because the missile defense system would have ever worked 100%, but because with Dem's in charge, the rest of the bad guys see us getting weaker and weaker....eventually they will strike again...
